Enic legacy, is that they invest 50 million in the club and they want over a Billion pounds for club. while literally failing at every hurdle.

This is exactly what they want, and to add to that, if the NDP will cost us 850M quid, they just shaved 150M off from that from TV revenues, League money etc that they didn't need to shell out on Incoming players. So if they sell the club for the reported 2B they are demanding once the NDP is complete, they will walk away with a tidy 1.2B profit and pat their backs thinking they've killed 2 birds with 1 stone by creating a lasting legacy in the stadium/training complex and also made a handsome profit!!
IC that the I and C in ENIC stands for when they play us like that. Meanwhile they only gave the fans 1 tinpot shit trophy to celebrate in all their time here.

Journalist on twitter stating that the Telegraph is suggesting 'city insiders' have heard Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is up for sale, currently valued at £2billion. No link to the article at present...

As you stated they are an investment company so it's minimal outlay for maximum return the only way we can be one of the true top boys is with sheikhs or Russians who gun for world domination otherwise with ENIC forget it.

Levy had two jobs this summer: Keep Poch happy, and, Deliver a new stadium. How he has managed to fuck up both, I'll never know.

Too busy knee deep in Cristal and strippers after preemptively paying himself a shit ton for doing those two jobs he failed to do..

Not sure levy could have done much more in relation to the stadium fiasco although we must have known earlier and that was/Is shocking PR.
The worst part is the lack of transfer activity which between levy and poch is comical, had we got new faces in as most normal teams do then I think the club would of had a lift which instead of now highlighting more problems would have distracted the stadium issue even if temporary.

If you said to me 17 years ago. ENIC will deliver a top 5 team for a decade( which we have been bar 1 season 6th) x3 consecutive CL campaigns x2 title challenges. Our best consecutive league finishes since 60/61/62. The best consistent football I’ve seen in my life time. Amazing training complex and stadium. Tbh I’d have taken it. Yes would be great to have had an Abramovich or Mansour. But ENIC aren’t that. For the model they use they really couldn’t have done very much better.

And that's where each of us differ. And I do, humbly beg to differ. Imho, its appalling that ENIC have delivered 1 crap trophy in all their years in charge.
With expected mass viewing and the globalization of football, it was always inevitable that we would have to build a newer bigger stadium. And ENIC have done no more than any other global brand football club expects and deserves. Yes, sure it will be a great stadium and is a great Training ground...BUT on the pitch coming 2nd/3/4th is nothing. Not winning a decent trophy is nothing.

Trophies and titles are what count, not coming 2/3/4. Nobody cares nor remembers who came 2/3/4. They only care and remember the team that came 1st.
You may be happy and content with coming runner up, but I certainly am not. You may be happy to have ENIC but certainly am not if that's all they will do and not deliver trophies.

In terms of making money and running a business well, they have achieved that part, I accept that - but in football terms, delivering in their field of business which is football, they have failed. And no matter what people say, ENIC will leave one day with not 1 major trophy and that's unacceptable to me.

ENIC have a shit model and its plain to see its failed to win us anything.

Just think of it like this, think of a business, any business, a bank, post office, a hospital, whatever...And in each of those business what and how is success measured? Having a nice building for the people to work in or the customers to visit? Or...for a bank, make money by selling/providing its customers services or loans? Make money by delivering mail? Make money by treating patients and saving lives? Each of those businesses are measured within their own industry and in football its trophies. The better you are, the more customers come and the more money you make. Its not the other way around like ENIC perceive...You've got to speculate to accumulate as they say.

Such a binary way of looking at it.
If I felt/thought that way about football, I honestly wouldn't bother with it.
Every season must be so disappointing for you...I actually feel sorry for you.

Tell West Ham fans that having a 62k state of the art stadium in there original home is standard are you kidding. Chelsea can’t manage it. Liverpool are adding bits to an out dated stadium. Old Trafford is in massive need of renovation. Who knows when Everton will actually get theirs done. Whatever your agenda against ENIC nobody with an ounce of common sense can underplay what an achievement the stadium is. And nobody could also deny that the squad in the last 10 years has been better than 1 league cup. That lays squarely at the door of the players and managers. We’ve had two of the best players in world football in the last decade in bale and modric. A current World Cup winning GK. Two of the best CB in the PL in last 5 years. Officially the most prolific striker ever in the PL. please don’t tell me Levy is the reason we’ve won 1 league cup.

some of us want trophies, some CL qualification- ENIC were shite for a long time but have now done possibly better than par. But they've taken us as far as they can.

The other question is not binary: Sheikh, Oligarch?? A slightly less risk-averse US sports or corporate investor will be fine. Be amazed they get close to the asking price though- ENIC over-prices everything...

The difficulty at this stage is that we are aiming higher than the silverware we can realistically win but we can't realistically win the silverware that we aspire to.

It depends on what the price includes. Don't underestimate just how much might well come with the club in any sale, not least a huge state-of-the-art training ground, a huge state-of-the-art stadium, a multitude of other properties and businesses, the offices and supermarket building with the college thing, and then you have the football side.

I took the liberty of adding something that was presumably just an oversight on your part.

Do you live in the UK, because that's not how the NHS works? Also, having a nice place to work in helps productivity. Only one parameter of outcome in football is winning trophies, and it also matters which trophies.
