just picked a random thread with levy in the title for this
salt probably needed again, very my son's uncle's brother told me..
old rotters on so: I was told yesterday by someone who’s son is a close friend of Levy’s son, Josh, and her herself has been to dinner at Levy’s, that he told her he will be standing down once the stadium is built. His legacy after17 years in charge. We debate players and coaches leaving, but this potential departure is equally cause for concern. Maybe more so.

There seems to be around £6M reasons a year this may not be true :)

Yeah I can really see Levy wanting someone else taking the glory for any potential trophy wins in the future if things continue as they are.

It’s the same reason as to why ENIC won’t be selling. That and the ever increasing value of the club too obviously.

I doubt he'd be going anywhere in the first year of the new stadium and with nfl at the lane. But he will step down at some point.
We'll have to see when that is.

However sentimental anyone maybe, a cash offer that cannot be refused should never be ruled out at any time.

CIES has ranked the European clubs in terms of average contract length of senior players: Spurs are joint 3rd, with an average contract length remaining of 3.18 years.

Great planning, imo.

Seems such a common sense approach. They get offered increased contracts regularly if good for the team. They get to the last two years if they refuse sell for as much as you can get. The fans might be a bit pissed but the club then reinvests that money in younger players.
The only exception should be players 30+.

he'd be mad to sell up now all of this is in place... with the money being pumped into league from TV, sponsorship, Partnership deals (NFL etc), Global fan bases ...... CASH.COW.
they haven't done all of this to now sell the club - they've done it all to reap the benefits all of this brings.

ps - think he's been amazing for this club. hope he stays.

One trophy is seventeen years ,the Most expensive ticket prices in Europe a chairman that’s get paid six million a year and the levites lap him.
It’s like Stockholm syndrome.

You know we’re all social media bots being controlled by a covert agency living in a bunker under DL’s mansion, right? That’s not technically kidnapping.

He got paid £6 million in one year. It doesn't mean it will be the same in the next accounting period.

Maybe you're desperate to get back to the Sugar years or maybe how we were under Irving Scholar who nearly bankrupted the club?

Yeah, they were much better than it is now! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Urghhhh! The man who gave supporters ‘client reference numbers’... says all you need to know about him.

Can’t beleive we have them to this day, such a horrible turn of phrase for members and ST holders.

Client? client? We’ve been here before you and we’ll be here after you... we might be viewed as ‘clients’ but but don’t say it to our face, just give us a fucking membership number.

Sorry I digress.

I think this is just standard terminology in business.
