He got paid £6 million in one year. It doesn't mean it will be the same in the next accounting period.

Maybe you're desperate to get back to the Sugar years or maybe how we were under Irving Scholar who nearly bankrupted the club?

Yeah, they were much better than it is now! :banghead::banghead::banghead:
No he will be paid wimore.Thats the problem it’s not the 90s anymore the game is totally different ,you happy just being a fluffier.

Ok bright spark, how much would you expect to be paid if you were CEO, Chairman, 27% Owner of the club and control of the holding company's voting rights?

Don't forget, among your responsibilities you'd be overseeing one of the largest private construction projects in Europe, responsible for securing the financing for the project, identifying and securing naming rights partners, signing identified players, selling players and negotiating contracts with current staff.

Your right the game has moved on since the 90s. Then there were no clubs like Chelsea and Man City bankrolled by people with bottomless pits of money or a Man Utd team that were the richest in the world. Competition has increased massively since the 90s. Yet we have had the best/highest consistent finishes in the league since the 60s. So the club is going in the right direction.

To tell you the truth, I couldn’t care less what Levy is paid. But like you say, the game has moved on compared to the 90s, £6 million is nothing nowadays in football terms. Then it would have been a big deal or about half the debt when we nearly went under.

Indeed things changed. Greaves was signed for 99,999.00 pounds so he wouldn’t be the first 100,000 pound player. Now who can you sign who is decent for 6,000,000 pounds ? In footballing terms it is a nothing amount which says a lot about how football is out of control financially.

It's always astounded me that clubs pay players more than the manager or chairman. You might have some programming geniuses at Amazon, who make sure their algorithms keep them on top of the game, but do you think they get paid more than Jeff Bezos?

Its not that unusual. I have been in companies where top salesmen can earn more than the president - and its because they drive more revenue. Same situation with the players. People only pay to see the players - not the manager or chairman.

True, people only pay to see players, but if you have no proper planning and leadership, you get left with shit, demotivated, and decrepit players - or as they are known in the business - West Ham.

Here we go again with the 'must win trophies' bollocks, and before I say anything about your memory (our last trophy came only 10 years ago...) let me just say I always wonder why Liverpool don't get the same rubbish as we do every day, every week, and every month but when was the last time they won any sodding trophies...?

FFS we've got the best team we've had here in over thirty five years and we're still getting the same old shit, not only from the TV pundits and so called experts, but by some of our own fans as well...!

Trust me. The trophies will come. We are so close we can almost reach out and touch them. We came damned close this season and next season, who knows...United are no better than we are and everyone knows it. We were only one game away from a final against Chelsea who we outclassed on their own ground only three weeks ago.

Patience Grashopper, patience.

Yes twitter rumour. But has been linked with West Ham. We’d obviously make more sense given NFL link.

Paul Allen is actually quite believable as a new owner rumour, already owns an NFL team and a MLS team

I’d be surprised if Levy didn’t sell within 5 years. There’s really no benefit to him to hang on after the stadium is up and running. The big money is in the sale £2bn as opposed to annual profit.
