Correct anyone who saw him captain England to the u20 world cup should be jazzing in their pants at the chance to sign a 21 year old who controls the game and puts in a shift... one of Englands best prospects by far.

Was he or were people watching through spurs tinted glasses? Onomah was good Walker peters was better but the one who kept everything moving was Cook.

Lewis Cook isn’t just a very good midfielder he also has the ambition and determination that Pochettino just loves in a player. He isn’t an academy brat but someone that came up via a local club, got a trial, and impressed Leeds so much he went straight into the first team. He has since secured a move into the top flight and driven the U-20s to World Cup glory. This guy will now want Champions League and full England honours - or die getting it, a proper Yorkshire bullheaded tyke. I rate him very highly.

Onomah was easier on the eye, but Cook was the leader and warrior - I don't think it's for no reason England has won three youth tournaments (Euro U17, WC U20, U21 Toulon) with a team built around Cook.
Just a positive for Onomah if we sign Cook, they've looked a good midfield duo before.
