The Express is also carrying the story both attributed to Alex Crook. I am not super familiar with UK tabloids so are they the same or owned by the same parent company?
Is Alex Crook one of those fake names they use?

Is this a DL strategy? Seems like when negotiation are near the end for a player - a rumour of Spurs in for a very similar player appears, as if to push the first deal over the line.

Why is this Rubbish, when we already had a ITK on him 2 weeks back ???
Not saying it is. Just saying it could be. Star and Express tend to be all over the place. Though The Star did break the Grealish saga...

Contract expires in 2020 and he hasn’t signed a new deal yet - they could at least be willing to sell then...

He’s signing an extension tomorrow isn’t he :cautious:

I know we're looking at current need but I'd even be happy to buy him now and loan him back for a year. His price is only going to go up.

Understand your argument. But Cook is ace, and proven. Still only 21 I think

If Cook is the Grealish alternative we're going to have a nasty surprise if we think we can get him for cheaper than we've been quoted for Grealish
