Leeds fans still go on about letting him go so cheap, The fee was 6m rising to 10m with add ons which i think may have been met considering he has made his england debut this year, Tidy little player that i think Poch could seriously kick onto the next level

Yes or stalls Winks development.

I think if Winks wasn't made of glass, we wouldn't be in the market for Cook. In fact, if Winks didn't have his injury problems, I don't think we'd actually need to go out and buy a new starting central midfielder this summer.

I really hope we sign an experienced CM, even if we get Cook. Agree on Winks.

With a surname like Cook, he'll be a gift for any cryptic ITK.

Made of glass? You make him sound like Jack Wheelchair. He's had a bad ankle injury, rushed back & injured it again. He's since had surgery & I guess we'll see what impact that's had on him when he's back in full training. The lack of respect some of you show our players (this is a lifelong Spurs fan who's come through our academy ffs) makes me sick. Have a word with yourselves

Lack of respect? Think you're going a bit overboard there - clearly from my post you can see how highly I rate Winks. I've said multiple times that I feel sorry for Winks and how he's been unfortunate with injuries - but until he manages to complete a full season...

Why are you so offended?
I bet you're fun to hang around...
Just think it's classless to call one of our own "made of glass". Did you say the same about Kane when he had the 2 injuries on the same ankle?
Anyway, you seem to think you've offended me but I'm a grown man just giving my thoughts on a forum, this ain't real life. Think it's a shame is all, especially as this kid lives & breathes for Spurs. Anyway knock yourself out hun x

So, my mate is a huge Bournemouth fan, he loves Cook, raves about his passing, haven't really watched too much of him but do know he wants the ball all the time and wants to move forward with it, him and Winks could be our midfield for years. both graft for the team.

You obviously need to re-read what I actually said - I literally implied that I rate Winks so highly that if he wasn't injured we wouldn't have a need to buy a central midfielder.

And no, I didn't say that same about Kane - because he hasn't missed almost a whole season through injury...

It's clear you've either woken up with the grumps, or you just generally go around gagging for confrontation, trying to make a big thing out of something very small...

Am i the only one who think that people don`t rate cook because he plays for Bournemouth and is an english?

Correct anyone who saw him captain England to the u20 world cup should be jazzing in their pants at the chance to sign a 21 year old who controls the game and puts in a shift... one of Englands best prospects by far.

Cook would be a great signing. He has a lot of potential but is already at a good level. He has well rounded attributes so he could play alongside Dier, Wanyama, Winks or Dembele.

We should really try and get this done.

Id love Cook, really exciting and massive potential. Problem most people have is the medical condition known as heisnotabignameitus.

Interesting that people are comparing him to Grealish. I see them very differently. If anything I would compare him to Winks albeit with different styles. I said last season that I thought a fit and firing Winks was the superior player but we haven’t see him for over a year now .....
