If Holtby's form continues and their new striker hits the ground running then they have a chance but it's still a big ask in my opinion.

They're only 4 points off safety and I think they've got a better squad than most those around them. If they can win the games against the teams around them I don't see why they can't avoid the drop!

He's going to end up at another club I reckon, honestly what a waste. Fuck Dembele off and bring him back here.

I did WTF this comment at first, but I it's Valentine's day, so no hate from me.

However, I don't understand this point; please explain further.

In my view, they would be both at the club, and maybe, on the pitch together.

Dembele is just not needed as an attacking midfielder he doesn´t score enough goals or create enough, paulinho does his job better, he isn´t needed as a DM because we have Capoue and Sandro for that.

Dembele is the player that I think we can do without, despite him being a good utility player. Seems like he can play pretty much anywhere to a good standard. Granted he was forced into a role under AVB that didn't suit him, I like the guy and he's got the hip injury, but it might be make or break for him.

Yah, just found out that Holtby played under Magath about 5 years ago, and he seems to be ok during that time?

Did he get called up for the German squad?

No, but he might as well have been. Don't understand the point in calling up Schweinsteiger and Özil when one has been injured and hasn't played a full 90 since November and the other has been rubbish since Christmas

Yea but there's no way that Ozil is gonna be left out of the squad if fit.

It's only a friendly though, it should be a window for tying a few different things out. He probably wont play anyway, and if he's been dropped from Arsenal's squad for a rest period, then what's the point of being called up by Germany?
