Surely they could roll out the NFL pitch, put down some sort of cover on it, and erect a massive screen in front of park lane? have the stands and pitch full of fans? Now that would be class.
Shame we cannot have the pair of Chas and Dave warming up the crowd before the game.

Out of 50k ST/Premium people, 16.6k are going to get tickets to go to the game. I imagine at least 10k more will either travel ticketless, or choose not to go to Tottenham. Meaning over 38k available to members, rather than 7-9k for a normal match (as obviously no away fans, segregation etc either). As long as you have a membership I doubt it'll be that difficult to get one?

And you have idiots like me on holiday -.-

I don't understand why they wouldn't just put some big screens on the pitch. Watching the whole match on one of those screens is going to be hell from alot of the stadium.

From where I sit in East Upper (block 523) you can barely see the screens, I have to turn and look at the one in the corner of East/South

Smoking area in the Park Lane square out back of the stand for us boys who would be crushed by stress during the final. Stick a big ol' telly out there too so we don't miss any of the game

Edit: this is a suggestion, not what they're actually doing

To be honest, just watching it in the goal line bar will be awesome. Can order a drink whenever you want as well.

I was fairly high in the South Stand v Everton and , really, the only screen comfortably visible( by turning sideways) was in the one (SE) corner. The SW corner was distorted and the 2 in the North stand were obscured by floodlights/overhang etc. Its not ideal and I wonder if the club will have second thoughts about putting something on the pitch and/or maybe outside on Park Lane square(?) where they had the after match entertainment. Then they have got all the internal TV facilities.
As for tickets, I wonder how they will deal with this. I'm guessing that it wont really be practical to offer ST holders their own seats with so many going to Madrid although they could have a separate advance window for that. Will they then just follow the normal One Hotspur membership route? Will they also sell tickets for entry to the internal facilities separately?( ie excluding a seat)

I’d be surprised if they erected screens on the pitch, or did anything other than fans in their seats watching the jumbo trons as any of that would cost more money. This is Levy we’re talking about...

I would love to get a ticket for this, first visit to the new place, for a game of a lifetime.

But it’s unlikely, as I’m a non member

I wondered why a girl in block 523 was looking my way, I thought I was being checked out :ROFLMAO:
(I sit in 530 between you and that screen)

The same Levy that built a hugely expensive stadium. And erected a feck off great big screen by the old one for the last game?

I think more details on this are needed. For many, if not most, fans, the prospect of looking at a screen the opposite end of the stadium can't be that appealing. Ideally they'd put the stadium into concert mode and have fans on the NFL pitch. Even from there, looking at the big screens would be a whole lot better.

‘Concert mode’ would be fantastic.

Due to my first child being due, I can’t go to Madrid. Gutted, but got no choice really, unless baby comes early!

Boxpark and others are doing screenings but don’t fancy being amongst rival fans for this.

I assume that tickets are only going to be sold to members and ST holders to avoid any Liverpool fans or others getting into the ground?

How's Barry Manilow's health these days? (I notice his head has shrunk yet his hair is the same size)... Live performance of Can't Smile without you' anyone?

Just looked him up.. seems to be performing in Vegas every night... probably cost more to hire for one night than Gareth Bales weekly wage.

No doubt we'll be left with Wynne Evans again :cautious:
