Well one of those four teams was telling porkies. Guess which one.

So Liverpool got to “sign up” and get all the good press, but in the end only did the same as we already do. Direct but not outsourced employees. Only after they were caught did they agree to the proper standards.

We should sign up. But a set of standards is only as good as the enforcement of and adherence to them.

When a company/club is earning hundreds of millions of pounds each year, and the people who run are earning millions each year themselves, it's disgusting that the people who are helping them earn such sums are not given a bigger slice of the pie.

Every single fucking full-time employee, board member etc etc should be forced to actually attempt to survive for a few months on the national living wage.

I use the word 'survive' because that's as much as can be hoped for. On national minimum or living wage, with rent, council tax, water, gas, electric, car tax & insurance being paid for, you're lucky if you can do a decent months shopping afterwards.

Throw in CSA as a bonus & you soon realise you're not earning a living, you're literally just existing. And that's a stretch!

The fact that our part time employees are not 'employed' by the club is a complete cop out and disgraceful

They are supposed to come in at the drop of a hat and provide a first class service. The least we can do is pay them a decent hourly rate

Sort it out Spurs and sign up to this scheme

We have a chairman on god knows how much and players on hundreds of thousands a week and we cannot pay everybody that works for us whether full/part time/temp a minimum of about £8.50 per hour

For fuck sake.......

the rate for under 21's poss 23's is something in the region of £5.85

The London living wage is £10.55 for those aged 18 and over.

Almost every company take advantage of contract workers like cleaners not being employees paid the London living wage.

I do think we need to be paying it though, for everyone working at the club.
