Love ya, but you let me down big-style here, Hugo.

Now wanna see you prominent in the community highlighting to young kids why this is super wrong and why you're an idiot for this.

You would think with all the money they earn , footballers & others like could use a cab if they want to have a drink.

I once was stopped by the police while drunk driving around 1 or 2 am, while also having my driving license expired. This actually happened during a season in which police here was specially trying to catch drunk drivers and impose on them some heavy ass fines (maybe even jail time).

I must have pulled out an oscar winning performance because one of the police officers simply told the other one that I looked alright to him, and they simply asked me to please go renew my license as soon as I could.

Some mysteries simply cannot be explained I guess.

If I earned 120k a week I think would have forgotten how to drive.

Sad to hear our Capt has been so unprofessional. You'd think by now these guys would take a cab or hire a driver if they're going out for a drink, which really shouldn't happen during a training week. They were given a couple of days off after Sat's game & if he was going to have a drink he should have done it then & not when he was back training.

No shots of Hugo in today's training gallery, have to see how Poch handles this , didn't seem to get mentioned in today's press conference.. Anything similar at Espanyol or Southampton that he had to deal with.

He worked with Osvaldo twice, even bought him to Southampton.

Hugo isn't on the same page as him, he fucked up and made a huge error, that's it.

Though drink driving should never be condoned, his apology seems very sincere.

He didn't get home from the cells until 11am, too late for training.

Come on fans he got caught,he is human like us. Disappointed yes but some of the comments on here are unreal.....does living in glasshouses and throwing stones mean anything to some of you. So bloody holy are we all pure like driven snow I don’t think so.
He made a serous mistake, he fucked up and will be duly punished by the law if proven. On his wages, a World Cup winner, Club and Country Captain he should have set an example and caught a taxi or had a driver. He didn’t so he will have to live with that shame. One indiscretion does not amount to the stick he has had on this site. He has and will still be a great Spurs player.

We don't know the extent of what he's actually done yet.

Was a mg or 2 over or was he hammered?
Let's hope it's the former as he might end up banged up if it's the latter.

I'm not denying he is a great player, but the money he is on, where he was caught to where he lives, a taxi wouldn't of hurt him.

the captain of Spurs and France is in the spotlight for the wrong reason, and however much it's frowned upon, is his crime has cost many peoples lives in the past. I very much doubt there will be a match day that someone in the crowd has lost a family member from someone drink and driving. Yes I know he never caused an accident, but he should of never put himself in a position that might of led to 1

What a shame. Lloris putting himself and others in a compromised position is so unusual. He will have to pay for this mistake with a driving ban, fine, correction course and possibly club disciplinary action.
