Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has said he does not expect to finish his career at the club. Lloris will have spent a decade at Spurs if he sees out his contract until 2022 and conventional wisdom suggests the goalkeeper, who turns 32 in December, is only just entering his prime. Asked if Spurs would be his last club, Lloris said: “I don’t think so.”

Thats the first time I have heard that about Lamela's inability to train every day, anyone else seen that in print elsewhere?

Always better to jump before you get pushed but he has at least a year or two with us.

I like (sarcastic like) how they link him coming in to his prime (based on nothing other than keepers play until their mid to late 30's) with his comment that Spurs won't be his last club.
It's a mucking fuddle of an article really.

What he appears to be saying is that he might not retire as a Spurs player. That could mean he will continue playing at a lesser level when he knows he's no longer good enough to play for us. It could mean pretty much anything or nothing.

I wonder what his hip problem is/was?
It's quite a vague descriptions. Could it be something like IT Band Syndrome?
You hear of footballers with non descriptive foot injuries which turn out to be plantar fasciitis. These are all the common runners injuries and our players tend to run a lot...
