Im surprised, but fair play. Nice to see a bit of loyalty, because he could move on to bigger things at the drop of a hat,

The problem with those quotes is they were from an interview each player did for the official website back in May, but the club has published them one at a time and have only now published Lloris'.

So he hasn't quashed rumours at all in my opinion. I think it's very much a case of 50/50 as to whether he'll stay, but the longer the De Gea move drags on the better our chances are of keeping him. PSG could now come to the table though following the FFP ruling.

I don't take anything written on the club website as anything other than positive spin and propaganda. The official line is invariably bullshit to tell the masses what they want to hear.

He could say he was staying in an interview live on Sky and you'd all say it was spin and he was off to another club. I don't know if it's just because of previous transfers, but not all players are the same. Just support the team and stop the negativity.

I think this is a handy conclusion from a standard club interview - obviously hope he stay sthough

I didn't see him squash anything. What did he squash? He didn't say he wants to stay, he didn't say that he didn't want to join Man Utd. He's a spurs player at the moment, what do you think he's going to say on an interview for the official website.

As long as De Gea stays at United we are fine.

Not sure why Real don't just go for Lloris direct anyway.

He wants to play champions league like any player of his quality. He deserves it and I'm sad to say we're holding him back by not giving him the big stage. Really hope he stays one more season and we qualify so there's no reason to move. Until that happens though we have to get used to this speculation. This keeps happening, Berbatov, Keane, Modric and Bale. One way to stop it COYS

Hmm. Not really what he said at all is it.
Wouldn't make any difference if he did. They still stir shit for a move until the window shuts same as Kane.
