Do we think he will stay next season?

I think our performance in the CL will be the icing on the cake.

He won't win trophies with us and is nearly 30' he will be gone next summer and I don't blame him.

If we don't qualify for the CL again he'll be off.

We're highly unlikely to be able to again so he'll go, and with my blessing. Has given us some of the best years of his career and shown more than his fair share of patience with the club.

He's a legend and good luck to him if he decides to take the opportunity to win something. He won't get any medals at Spurs.

Why exactly is he a legend, genuine question. He is a fine goalkeeper but not sure he is a legend of this club

I'm hoping the carrot of the new stadium will enough to keep our best players.

Wow, much longer than expected. Brilliant commitment. I hope we as a team can reward that.

Hugo signs new contract
Posted on 22 December 2016 - 13:00

We are delighted to announce that Hugo Lloris has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2022.

Captain of Spurs and France and recently nominated for the Balon d’Or award, Hugo joined us on transfer deadline day in August, 2012, from Olympique Lyonnais where he had twice been named Ligue 1’s Goalkeeper of the Year.

Since then, he's appeared 189 times for us in all competitions and has played a key role in helping us develop a reputation for having one of the best defences in the Premier League.

Hugo proudly led France to the final of Euro 2016 this summer, having played 37 of 38 league games last season as we achieved our highest-ever Premier League finish and conceded just 35 goals, our best defensive record in the Premier League era.

150m thanks.

Joking aside, I really hope he stays with us over the next few years. He makes that difference.
