He looks like a very good goalkeeper to me. Sometimes its the games where you don't have that much to do that shows what a top keeper you really are

Very commanding in coming for a couple of crosses second half which relieved any pressure on our defence to clear the ball

His most impressive piece of keeping was when he raced off his line to close down Klose who was completely unmarked 8 yards out when the ball was squared across to him. Brilliant goalkeeping that put the centre forward off

Seemed very calm and assured and his distribution was good. Hasn't good a booming kick like Robbo etc but that is certainly not the end of the world although I can't see him scoring!!

The sooner he becomes our No1 the better for Tottenham

I predict great things

His confidence impressed me the most. Claimed the aerial balls and was barking instructions to his defence. We need that presence in the box, it will help prevent our defence getting dominated aerially by the likes of Stoke.

He was brilliant loved how he refused to hoof the ball and took that extra second too pass it!

That bit of keeping on klose was wow how fast is lloris and brave!

Also the way he came out and got the ball it was amazing that's what we need in the last minutes of games instead of somebody who is glued to his line he relives pressure!

Friedel has been excellent for us but this guy looks quality, very commanding on the crosses and is quick as anyone else! Time for him to start in the league

Thaty was somthing that came out, Gordon Sracken said he is a very brave keeper and has been injured on a few occasion such is his determination to get the ball.

I had some reservations, but having watched him last night and in the recent internationals he'd be my number 1. He showed a lot of intelligence last night and his distribution was excellent.
Cheers Brad, but the future has arrived.

HE looks tiny doesnt he? Both height and build. But he is 6'2, and did look to command the area very well and wasnt shy to come for crosses. Hands like glue.
Brad in undoubtably a good shot stopper and an experienced head, but Lloris is the all round better keeper. He's rated as one of the best world. So romance aside, Lloris should be and will be out first choice sooner rather than later. Would love him installed by the Utd game next week.

He's like a reliable version of Gomes then, excellent!

i like what i saw and personally i think he a shouls start on sunday

Brad does not deserve to be dropped but are we going to wait until he does a howler before we drop him? Or are we going to bed in our keeper for years to come?

Lloris is a better goalkeeper than for the system AVB prefers. That much is certain.

Now it is down to AVB to manage the situation best he see's fit. Personally I think he should start versus QPR as the Man U match will be more high profile and any mistakes will be amplified. If Lloris starts in the next game he will get a better feel for the team and prem under less pressure.

To be honest he did not have a lot to do last night, but what little he did have he did well.

I like it when he leaps up in the air as though he's trying to fly. I also like the fact he seems to want to give the ball to one of our players, rather than hoof it.

I'm happy we've got a world class player who should be with us for the next 8-10 years.

It's imperative for goal keepers to start off well otherwise they quickly attach themselves to negative headlines and get stereotyped very easily - De Gea is still seen as a weak link at Utd after his dreadful start but has come on leaps and bounds and is much more assured yet someone like Reina and to a lesser extent, Cech rarely get criticised as they started off strong and will always be bandied round as two of the top goalies in the division.

It's a question of when not if Lloris becomes undisputed number 1 but I can see why Friedel may hang on to the jersey for a little while longer despite us clamouring for Lloris to start.

The only thing I've seen as I watched it on fast forward was him in the first half of the game half heartedly try to dive on a low cross from the left and miss it leaving him very very fortunate no one was on the end of it.

I will attempt to watch the whole match tonight at normal speed.

^THIS and an incident in the second half when he tried to shepherd the ball out for GK and the attacker hooked it back over his head. Its incredible the adulation he's getting after last night. He certainly looked good on the one or two crosses that came in and seems to have very good ball skills but come on, lets keep our willies in our pants for a little longer shall we??!

Depends which way you look at it really. If Lloris had stayed on his line then Klose would have likely lunged forward and connected with the ball. Lloris's presence put him off a bit.
