He got sent off in his last game.weather that meant 3 game ban and missing playoffs I don't know

It's getting to make or break time for Tom now. There's probably a new manager next year and if Tom isn't seen as a first team squad player then I fear he'll get sold. Clearly has something to offer but needs to show what he's got.
