To get a ticket for Anderlecht you need 465 loyalty points unless you book on a Thomas Cook tour when you dont need any. My boys and I have 415 each and despite the boys only missing one Europeam game ,this season and last ,we cant go ,even though we have booked and paid for flghts and hotels. This is an absolute scandal ,it probably means that only 200 supporters with loyalty points ( the true supporters) will go. Whilst the freeloading day trippers who are going for a jolly to Belgium will go at our expense.
We have a trust that is supposed to represent us in these issues.Lets see if they are a toothless tiger or if they can have some influence on the club.If they cant they may as well disband now, as they will never be able to do anything for the genuine supporter.

Bit harsh! While I'm sure you're annoyed at not being able to go to anderlecht it's not like the people on these packages are freeloaders. Why not just go via Thomas Cook?

A) Because itsheaper the way we have booked it.
B) We did it our way for all the other trips.
C) We want to go earlier and stay longer than the organised trips.
The answer is that all tickets should be on a loyalty points basis and Thomas Cook trips should be available for those with sufficientpoints to use if they want to.
This is just another method the club are using to screw more money out of all of us.

root of the entire issue right there, and the trust wont change em, only a sudden return to being shit will, cause their much vaunted waiting list will disappear and theyll have to remember what treating customers properly feels like!

one thing I'd like to see is that for sure fire sell out games like Arsenal chelsea etc, in fact all category A prem games, is a day where people with loyalty points, say in excess of 300, get first pick at the tickets on sale.

This wouldn't benefit me, as I don't have many points, but I think it would be fair to those who go to so many games

i understand your annoyed, but going on your logic you arent a 'true supporter' so maybe you should become a freeloader?!?!?

Gutted for you mate but as you know the money men couldn't give a monkeys about true supporters unless they are very wealthy.
So are you saying that only 200 of the 1400 tickets we got for the game didn't go with packages?

As I understand it thats right. Only two hundred are going to supporters who are not going on the packages.
Aparently Daniel Wynn of the trust is takeing this matter up with the club tomorrow.
Don't think he has a chance of getting anywhere which will show how little the club cares for the trusts point of view.
The only other hope we have is that the tours will not be fully subscribed as they are such bad value. This was the case for Israel where it is tour only packages if you wanted tickets. The tours were so expensive that noone subscribed and they were then cancelled. If they had allowed us to make our own travel arrangements we would have sold out our allocation. The club obviously did its cobs on this episode and is trying to make it back on this one.

i am in the same boat, the club fucked us over once again.

all tickets should go on a ticket only first and if they sell the allocation then no trips should be organised by the club.

Just because someone doesnt have in excess of 400+ points or whatever, doesn't make them NOT a true supporter...

I knew this would happen, thats why I bought a ticket in the Anderlecht section.

My advice would be to go to "de Valera's" Irish pub, 17 Place Flagey. There'll be lots of Tottenham fans there, and I'm pretty sure there will be tickets available (obviously at a vastly overinflated price)

i was lucky to be one of the 200 it seems, sounds like a lot of people have been done over though. goin on the eurostar then staying two nights in Anderlecht, finding accomodation is proving pretty difficult tho!
