Listening to Sky Sports transfer podcast (do not know how reliable) bloke said Lucas reps was speaking to Bayern. I could imagine them getting it over the line.

I could 100% see Lucas going to Munich 3 /4 seasons then going to Italy when he’s around 29/30.

I really cannot see how an Italian club can afford to deal at PSG’s unreasonable terms, along with package (baggage). We will see.

I believe I've heard before that clubs seem to have one price for PL teams and one for others, sounds ridiculous but maybe the case here?

Unfortunate that they were very reasonable on Aurier but not on this one.

According to reports they've got to make up 75 million euros, so I guess they have to be unreasonable.

They'll receive a toothless punishment either way, but no doubt Levy will be calling their bluff on a bench warmer or kid or two come brinkmanship day...

In today’s market what would we say he’s worth? I suppose a lot will depend on his contract situation. I like him a lot but wouldn’t want the club to be paying much more than £40m-£45m really. Anything less than that would be a good price in my book. I suppose his wages come into it too. Thinking about it, he’s at PSG and went there for a big fee, so chances are he’s on a high enough wage. This could be a very expensive deal, no wonder the club wanted a loan to see how he’d perform in the league before investing so heavily.

He’s a good player though, no doubt about it.

Rumours in the agent world is they may well have the book thrown at them if they don't sort it out. The original big boys(Real, Barca, Bayern, Juve, Yanited etc) have been exerting pressure on Uefa/Fifa for a while regarding PSG and City's non earned spending power. Of course it is only to protect their status quo, but they have an awful lot of clout between them.

PSG need to make up the shortfall somehow, and Moura looks to be a large chunk of that.

I want no part of Lucas Moura if he would be close to what Davinson Sanchez cost. 25 mil, sure worth a shot but another 15 and that just isn't worth it at that point. Can't imagine anyone giving them what they're asking.

@Trix, this is really interesting stuff....do you see Citeh running into the same issues soon? Their spending is out of control over 1/2 billion net pounds in the last 5 years alone.

What can you really do about it though? Competition bans perhaps? Do fines even matter?

I'm making a guess here but I would guess that means agent fee's. They can just go jump. It is obscene the amount of money these so called agents are making from players. Not to mention I'm also confident he would be looking for a reasonably heafty wage. I don't think this guy is worth the effort (personally).

Last summers signings:

  • One kid, but a kid who Pochettino has played in almost every game and who will be starting for his country at the next World Cup.
  • One starting right back.
  • One bench warmer, but one who has scored goals throughout his career at the very highest level, played successfully for one of the worlds biggest clubs, won the World Cup and proven himself in the Prenier League.

It's all irrelevant mate they will just sponsor themselves for another billion :cautious:

Ffp is a farce designed to keep the big boys at the top but psg ,cashchester crashed the party then took the party over so the other big cash clubs are knicker wetting.

It was all gravy when it was just them doing it
