Moura is only 25 but with loads of experience, one of the quickest players with the ball I have ever seen. But I am not a big fan, lack of end product and a big question mark about his mentality. Often find him making a brilliant move then to basically fuck it up. So if we are looking for a somewhat better Sissoko we have found our man.

I think it’s obvious that MP likes the use of pace when things aren’t going right - GKN. So with him gone I fully expect him to be replaced with someone. Whether Moura is the guy though remains to be seen.

As for Kilpatrick, I think there’s a lot of games played out using the press.

Don't get the point of a loan myself. If he tears it up then we'll likely lose out in a bidding war to the big boys won't we?

Please don’t compare him to Sissoko. If Sissoko could ever do anything like this then no one would mind him being in the team...

And no, he didn’t score, but he had the brain to attempt the chip at the end rather than smash it. 6 months? No brainer. Yes please.

I’m dubious but if he’s an upgrade on Sissoko/GKN then ultimately he strengthens the squad and gives us better options

He is a big upgrade to Sissoko and GKN. Maybe as big as we want but miles a head of them.

Depends how confident in him we are, if we drop £30m on him it might have a knock on in the summer if we have preferred targets then, as well as the obvious if he disappoints.

If we need something in now and he's the best available, then a loan would make sense, maybe if we could factor in a water-tight option price to cover ourselves if he was a huge success.

#thfc No truth in Moura to Tottenham.

oh

Weird that the other journos (Pearce, Gold, etc...) have not tweeted similar, as is usually the case when they get info from the club.

Trying to think back to the summer and if there were similar denials over Aurier, there might have been due to non-disclosure agreements etc...

I used to watch PSG quite a lot when Ibrahimovic was there and I always liked Moura when he played. He always tries to do something with the ball and whiles sometimes a bit over-ambitious he has regular moments of brilliance. Pacey, great dribbler and a decent finisher. A no brainer for me if we can get him for a good price.

It's been a while since I watched him regularly though so I can't say if he has regressed or why some seem so down on him.

Telefoot saying the asking price is 30M Euro which is £26-27m. If the player meets with Poch and he's impressed I could see us going for it, especially in the current market, isn't Malcolm mooted at 45M Euro?

Me, I don't care really about what may or may not happen in the summer. If he can come in and help secure top 4, then it will be worth it. There is some need for short-term thinking now for long-term gain.
