Yep, he did well enough and I can see many reasons to be positive about having to play another game. More players will get more minutes and a fully fit squad needs a lot of matches to stop players grumbling.

he reminded me of Townsend, until he scored,
Then I realised, he nothing like Townsend.

A very good performance. Great touch and finishing, good shift of pace, quick creativity, and good commitment. Seems to have a humble yet talented, committed sense about him - i.e. perfectly fits the Poch template.

Obviously only Rochdale, but he seems to have the Lennon impact. I.e. that ability to quickly shift direction and gears and then put in a cross/through ball. The defence is forced to panic and commit more than one defender, creating space for other committed runners. Something that we clearly lack currently - Sonny is probably the only one who comes close. That is why the "park the bus" tactic against us proves to be be quite successful.

Should be a good buy.

P.s. classy from the lads and fans acknowledging Ryan Mason. Top stuff.

I really hope he blossoms with us...

In my heart I always wanted us to sign an attacking Brazilian player... they just have that magic and flair that players from European countries lack.

Hoping to see more of him. COYS!

Better goals per minute ratio than Kane. Should start all games between now and the end of time.

Wasn't convinced when we bought him due to him not having played for such a long time but he looked very lively and took his goal very well. Gives us a much needed option of a player who is quick and is prepared to take player on and should make quite an impact when he's fully match fit.

He played 71 minutes yesterday against Rochdale. Assuming that he was tiring then. So he might have lasted about 50 minutes against proper EPL opponents.

Hope that he can make it up to 70 minutes against Crystal Palace next game.

I was also impressed with his work rate, he seemed to track back and won a few defensive headers

That's what impressed me. It's like another Lamela attitude in the team. We need more of that and his ability in the ball to take the pressure off other players by having another threat.

Been here before. A player bigged up before he's delivered the goods.

I'll wait until he's played a good few games before judging him personally.

Hes a effing Brazilian international signed from an elite team that only got rid of him cos they bought two wingers for 340m. Lighten up man.
