You know, I could say much the same thing about you from a different perspective. You've swallowed the hate campaign and are perpetuating the hate rather than coming up with an alternative solution for dealing with the problem that isn't itself based on hate.

I have no problem with Suarez being prosecuted for biting or racism. The problem I have is that people are very quick to condemn him entirely without analysing what made him who he is. A few years being brought up in poverty and living a life that's harsh and insecure might well change someone's understanding of what it takes to survive in the environment he grew up in and why he behaves, instinctively, in the way he does.

Just going to leave this here:

"In no way it happened how you have described, as a bite or intent to bite,” Suarez wrote.

"After the impact ... I lost my balance, making my body unstable and falling on top of my opponent.

"At that moment I hit my face against the player leaving a small bruise on my cheek and a strong pain in my teeth."

He actually missed all of pre season, no training with the squad and no friendlies or warm up games so by the time he comes back to his club in November he would theoretically need a couple of months to get match sharp as he would have only played two games in six months. So realistically Liverpool have lost him until December at the earliest in terms of form

I suppose in hindsight it is probably about right. It is just an aggravating incident to watch and his constant petulance and refusal to accept the incident is the behaviour of a spoilt 6 year old

Its probably the effect of rabies setting in. :cautious:

its made as a joke but the underlying message here is a serious one. There are serious potential infection risks from a human bite - and this pathetic individual has bitten other players 3 times.

How some one here (and in the press) can say that the ban is harsh is beyond me. I am not sure how much clearer the evidence could be. He deserves everything he gets - and his opponents certainly DO NOT deserve being put at risk of being bitten by him.

On the street this would be his third assault and he would be facing prison time.

In which case Charlie Adam should come in for the same kind of condemnation. Adam constantly assaults people on the football field and hasn't received anything like the hate for it. There's plenty of opportunity to get infection from a compound fracture, so let's villify Adam in the same way. I don't like the way either of them behave, they're as bad as each other, but why one is perceived to be so much worse than the other beats me.

Adam is certainly condemned on here and rightly so. The guy is a thug.
