As I have said all along. I believe Redknapp has made a massive error with Suarez. I have watched the man play over 40 times and he is class and can play as the main striker or second striker or even wing-forward.
He will be a massive hit in the EPL and I've never been more gutted on missing out on a player, he would have been fantastic for us upfront.

Like the way how he curved his run yesterday to stay on side before rounding the keeper, showed good intelligence and composure.
While I know the eredivisie is not the strongest it's not as bad as people make out and you can find genuine talent there. Affelay has sloted in nicely at Barca so far.

:think: I was very much in favour of buying Suarez, for the reasons you give...but, if we finish top 4 this season, and then a pure humungous striker is brought by the club then it won't really be a massive mistake, just a choice we would have madethat he didn't.

Yeah, always said Suarez was good and we should snap him up but...
Oh well, I wonder what summer will bring us? Apparently no players we've linked with and can't believe we went £15mil for Forlan hahaha, glad we didn't buy him.
It seemed cheap for Forlan especially every club splashing our £20-£50mil... What happened to recession and normal price for good players?
Carroll £35mil? Torres £50mil? Divide both by 2 then that's there real price, Suarez price is quite reasonable - as of yet, we shall see if he'll bag more goals... looks likely though, he hasn't trained with the Liverpool players and yet managed to fit in so well...
