Tottenham keeper to join Portsmouth

Tottenham keeper Luke McGee is set to join Portsmouth.

McGee spent last season on loan at Peterborough - playing 44 times.

Pompey had previously been clocking Brighton shot stopper Christian Walton.

Yeah, reckon you're right but he seems to get on with all our players I'd like to have kept him about the club.

Pochettino has never really shown a great interest in the young goalies who were at Spurs when Pochettino arrived, and I see no reason why that should change. Too decent player McGee is to not be playing, but not attractive enough for Pochettino. Sell on a permanent transfer. He'll be back in PL soon enough, though.

Bit weird that we didn't sell him back to Peterborough when they have apparently been trying all summer to sign him back, either on loan or permanently. Their chairman has had a rant on social media I heard.

Makes no sense that we would deliberately avoid selling to P'boro unless the player told us he didn't want to go back which would also be weird as he apparently loved it there last season.
