Sad to see that young players have to move abroad to be given a chance.

I hope it works out for him. The Bundesliga is a good league for young players to develop. Hopefully we got an option to get him back in case he becomes a world beater!

Good experience for him and can’t be bad for young English players to get experience abroad, even if he won’t make it with Spurs.

Wonder why he's made more of an impression with an overseas club so as to be overlooked by all the clubs in the UK, or if he had a choice and chose this?

We're definitely getting a bit back or % of next sale on these youth sales

Really glad to see some of the youth going overseas to play for half decent clubs as opposed to rotting away on loan at some league two outfit for six months and getting kicked off the park!
Life experience, character building and fond memories for them hopefully!

Smart move for the kid. I think all out top English young players should go to Germany who will play them and generally play decent football. Good luck to him and hopefully we have a Barcelona type by back clause

The definition of an optimist; a Borussia Monchengladbach fan who starts a chant with, "Give us a 'B'...?!"
