Making our feelings heard

The management debate has been polarising the fan-base since AVB and the club parted ways but as fans our say in the direction the club decides to go will (optimistically) be minimal or (realistically) nonexistent.

If we don't make our voices heard then we can we really complain if Daniel chooses a manager that the majority may not want. I for one believe that a proactive chant of <Insert Name's> Blue and White Army or something with more panache while Daniel Levy in earshot has got to be better and more fun than just sitting there and doing nothing.

Is it worth actually making our feelings and opinions heard with chants for our preferred manager or will it make us a look like even more of joke of a club than we are at the moment?

Not sure about this. I'm not a fan of Tim but I think his feelings should be taken into account. Can you imagine him on the sidelines hearing Park Lane chanting "FDB's Blue and white army" it'll make him cry, or very very angry, lol.

It's not like Levy will listen to us anyway, he'll appoint who he and the board think is the best man, not who we think

I see your point but I've passed the point of caring about Tim's feelings and the club have already broken his spirit.

I just want Levy to have something to think about. I'd rather not be in a position where I even have to think about stuff like this but we are and I have

I know what you mean, I don't really "care" about his feelings either, I just don't think it's that classy.

Having said that, if a chant did ring round I'd probably join in. I don't really practice what I preach. I'm a bit of a twat like that

Could be worse, could be a **** who thinks up stuff like this in a futile attempt to get their own way

Levy will know the fans opinion by monitoring social media, sites like this and to a lesser extent radio phone in shows. I don't think a chant like that will be necessary. Especially seeing as we can't agree.

Whose name do we chant? It'll be embarrasing if everyone chants a different name.

Poccenitezoer's blue and white army?

More to the point, chanting the name of someone who isn't our manager and might not ever want to join would be absurd.

It's a pretty unanimous sentiment at this point.

You mean like when Tim takes players feelings into account in his interviews?!?!

I take your point, but there is a bigger picture. Levy should be looking at a little fan appeasement, because whilst he is a financial guru, to coin our American Friends, 'he sucks at management' when it comes to hiring and firing. Why not sing who we want?

Although, it'll be a lot of white noise with the number of names!

I'd perhaps sing Alex Harvey. But it may not be to everyone's taste.

Exactly what I had in mind!
Or maybe, more optimistically, Faith Healer. Or Delilah. ('Why why why, D. Levy?')

That would be a chant and a half to hear around the Lane. Next game i'll go to i'll have a bash. If that fails, i'll go for NEXT. If that fails, i'll be at the bar singing it to myself. Provided I haven;t been ejected.

Couldn't care less anymore would be my chant.
We don't need a manager we need a miracle worker with this squad, and I don't see any miracle workers looking for a job.

I like it. "Why why why D.Levy (don;t care anymore) WHY WHY WHY D Levy (I just don;t care anymore)

()= Backing vocals. I'm on a winner here, I know it.

I fully expect and hope to hear a 'getting sacked in the morning' the very first time Tim stands up on Sunday - that will ensure that Daniel gets the message
