Interested if people here would prefer Malcom or Lozano...

I think I maybe would have preferred to gamble on Malcoms talent rather than Lucas, but I'm still glad we have Lucas in the team.
I watched Malcom about 7 times last season and I never really got the fuss. He has a tendency to run down blind ally's and over dribbles a lot. He does have good vision but for me I thought he was over hyped and Im really not that fussed about missing out on him. I think he will struggle in his first season in the PL.

I really like the look of Lozano from what I have seen but I have only watched him a handful of times for PSV. Both talents are very raw imo but I would pick Hirving out of the two. Not that we will get ether.

Yeah, its probably toss up of preference of creativity vs. scoring. Both big potential, both could be complete busts.

Hand on heart, for £30m I think I'd have preferred him to Moura. Moura hasn't developed how people expected him to, whereas Malcom could stay as he is, could develop further. I like his directness and trickery. Big shame we've missed out on him, I expect something from our club now. Something impressive to come if we are prepared to overlook young talents such as him

I really hope Moura has a good season. I'm still very unsure about his ability in the PL and I probably wouldn't have gone for ether Moura or Malcom if I had a choice. But we have him and I really hope he proves my doubts wrong.

Everton signing yet another attacking midfielder is just nuts. They have Martina at LB still, yet they want another AM. It's like our obsession with young French wingers.

Can't buy them all, he plays in the same position as Lamela and lucas.

Is he better than either of those, guess we'll find out soon enough

Would he really go to Everton if we were still interested? Optimistic perhaps but this may indicate we are more confident on one of our other forward targets.

Guess you can't string these backup options along for ever. Hopefully this means we are still in for the top targets. I'd take both Martial and Zaha over Malcom right now. We need more known quantities in attack.

Impatient much?

I really hope we've got it right out of the toss up between Moura & Malcom. I get worried about Moura's size in the Premier League. I'd love to see Moura become a key part of the team, I'm just a little pissed off that we've let this one slide. I think he'll be a good asset for the Evertonians

Very different players. Modric's passing ability and ability to find space in the centre of the park is a completely different style to Moura's play on the wing. I think Moura is a smart player, very good ability to retain possession and have been impressed with his willingness to battle, I just liked the look of Malcolm's ability to cut in and across. I think Malcom possibly offered something when pressing to break down teams dropping deep

Writing off Lucas Moura already is complete and utter nonsense.
Guy was nowhere near match fit when he arrived and started what, one PL game? I'm looking forward to see how he performs after 6 months plus pre season under Poch, very good chance he'll start against Newcastle and big opportunity for him to get going.

I think Lucas is going to be huge for us this season. He’s a really good player and I’m hoping he shows that this year.

I’d much rather him to Malcom and I think he’s going to surprise a few people.

Most of their Ams are slow no 10s. He gives them pace and something different. However I would have just kept Lookman!

So, wasn't there ITK about us being close on someone the other day, but it was under wraps as another club thought they were equally close? Could this be it?

Who: The Goat
When: 15th July
Where: SC

The Goat hears that a few deals are ‘close’ but with at least one of them we aren’t the only club who think that way
