Yeah but Malcom is left footed and more of a playmaker. Martial and Zaha are more direct attacking mids that can also play as a striker. I don't see Malcom as being a regular starter personally.

Fair enough, I appreciate they're different types of players but I'd say even with differing styles any of these 3 would be a coup and have attributes that we lack. Arguably I'd say we lack Malcoms attributes the most.

I thought that was why we bought Lucas tbh but I suppose he's more of a direct player.

Yeah I said to my friends at the time I felt Lucas would end up preventing us from signing a top class player for that area, Hopefully with a pre-season he becomes a top player for us.

Zaha can play upfront if Kane is ever missing, which means no more Llorente.

Malcom doesn't give us that option.

Zaha would be a game changer for us I'd leave Malcolm well alone and go big or go home for Wilf.

Well he played upfront just about every game after he came back from injury, helping Palace avoid the drop.

With Lamela singing the new deal we don’t need Malcom imo.

The way Zaha played up front for Palace is completely different to how we use a striker up front.

Not to mention that it’s pretty irritating to have a striker who is bad at finishing.

Will certainly be interesting to watch how the next couple of seasons play out for both. Also will be interesting to see how Roma find playing time for both Under and Malcom as both pretty much play the same role and will both need a lot of play time to develop further.

Malcolm could be seen by Roma as a direct replacement for Cengiz Under who we are allegedly after.

Plus they've already signed Justin Kluivert.
