Hmmmm beginning to think this may well happen with a loan deal now which goes perm in the summer. Don't fully understand a move for this type of player at the moment but I'm starting to think he is coming in now to replace someone who we know is off in the summer. Not sure how much Malcom could offer arriving in mid-season, especially seeing as he has played very little at Barca and whole situation would be similar to Moura this time last year.

I’ll take anyone at this point.

Cheers for sharing. On the one hand I like the idea of us signing good players and want us to do so. On the other hand I don't like Miguel Delaney as a writer and enjoy when he is wrong and lashes out at being called out on it... Ugh this complicates my internal feelings on the world greatly.

He’s usually more wrong than right

So, as he plays effectively the same position as Moura and Lamela, as a RWF in a 4231, is he really required.
However, I actually think Lamela could take over as the LCM if we stay more 433. Naturally left footed, has the power, technical ability, and critically the discipline, workrate and tenacity to slot into Poch’s midfield 3. That would then leave space for Malcom.
Personally, I think that would more squad balance sense than seeing him as cover for CF. Think it’s a bit of a leap though to see it happen. Think Barca will stiff us.

In Brazil they're saying he's definitely been told he can leave. They are normally pretty accurate about news when it comes to Brazilians in Europe (the Neymar to PSG story first broke there) so I believe they get fed reliable info.

Let's see if we are wanting him or not.

Don't be ridiculous, preferred shouldn't even be close IMO.

One looks like he'd suit the English game right off the bat and one doesn't particularly.

The usual suspects' knickers seem to get a lot wetter the younger and more foreign a player is, even more so if they're rated in the video gaming world.

Malcom is a lot of these, but I'm just not 100% on him suiting the Premiership.

Who’s the guy on here who has that ranking of how Barca fans rate different sources - is Sport or Mundo Deportivo more reliable?

Everything you’ve just said also applies to Werner.

http://www.thefalse9.com/2018/01/football-transfer-sources-rumours-website-reliability.html

  • Tier 1 – Almost undisputed when discussing a Transfer Rumour. They may not be the first to discuss a rumour, but if they are talking about it; then it is almost certainly true, and possibly close to complete.
  • Tier 2 – Known to have current sources, but are still fallible and just short of being considered an authority on rumour discussions. However, multiple individuals or sources from this tier reporting the same rumour may indicate a strong possibility of truth to the rumour.
  • Tier 3 – Unreliable, and not to be trusted solo. They fall into near click-bait practices and are often fighting for relevance in a sea of rumours.
  • Tier 4 – Not to be trusted at all. These companies make money out of ensuring that you read them and they will make up anything to get you to harness advertising revenue.
  • Tier 5 – Absolute D*ck Heads. Why are you even reading them for f*ck sake?

No it doesn't, simply due to his build and the fact he's European I'd say he's better suited to the English game already.

He probably already speaks decent English. Malcom, I'm not so sure about. Not calling him a bad player, but if there's a choice (doubtful anyway), it's an easy one for me.

Edit - forgot Sane existed, Fuk.
