How does a club get the message of a manager?

He was probably using a company phone and texting a fellow employee also on a company phone. That makes those texts Cardiff FC property

Moody and Mackay both f**ktards of the highest order deserve what they get. The timing of all this indicates some degree of mischievousness and spite from the Tan Man, but so be it.

Those who do no wrong have little to fear. Never was that adage truer.

I suspect the racism and idiotic lack of professionalism is just the tip of an ugly iceberg. Ole is a straight arrow. He has nothing to worry about.

His career should be over, no place for cavemen like that in football

Bet West Ham or another vile club hire him though

Well, I don't see Mourinho leaving anytime soon, so West Ham it is then.

Hope he doesn't get another job in football but after the likes of

Gray and Keys (earning a fortune in Dubai after sexist comments)
Ched Evans (rapist)
Nile Ranger (woman beater)
McCormack (murderer)
Lee Hughes (murderer)
Marlon King (woman beater)

All did bad things and carried on their careers after a while, its inevitable that Macakay will be back, likely at a ****ish club like Millwall, Leeds or West Ham

He might, though reckon it's bit different compared to someone like Lee Hughes - he did wrong, probably feels bad for it for the rest of his life and has now carried his sentence. I know some might disagree, but he should be able to carry on with his life and work after he has served his time, I mean it's not like sentence was X years of jail and unemployment for rest of his life (why should football be any different, if he isn't allowed to do that, why should he be allowed to do anything else for living - why is football special in that aspect?)

Now as for Mackay, those messages aren't a single mistake, rather they show a lot about his personality and that ought to be bigger barrier to enter football again.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

It's all very off as Malkay has dropped his legal battle with Tan and issued a grovelling statement...

Why would he do this?

From the outside if I was Malkay I'd be wanted to sue the fuck out of Tan for his continued comments / behaviour.

Thought it seemed VERY odd at the time and guess we all know why he suddenly dropped it now!

Odd Tan sat on it then suddenly decided to apply the finishing move - would have thought would have done as soon as found the incriminating texts...

It's not odd at all, it was timed for the moment of maximum opportunity to fuck up Mackay's life.

There's still some good in the football world... Sol Campbell's hunt for a job continues

Apparently these texts were known at the time

Exactly which is why I have an issue with this whole ordeal, fair enough Malky is an ignorant twat if what is said is true but Cardiff are just as big as douches for releasing this shit as he is about to sign for another the club.

There is a culture in football of covering up and they should of reported it as soon as it happened

Revenge is a dish best served cold, as they say.
Well played Vince.

This whole thing is really snowballing. Now the LMA have got themselves in trouble for describing the texts as 'banter'.

All in all it's become a pretty unedifying spectacle for all involved.

Having read the text messages, I think Tan is probably in the right if this is where the sacking etc stems from, which judging by how quickly Mackay retracted his legal claim, I would say it probably is the case. Shame for Palace getting dragged into the whole mess, on top of the Pulis saga, why can't this ever happen to Chelsea?
