"SpursDave88, post: 5697608, member: 23531"]People are just venting...the board is an easy target because at the end of the day what this season is proving is that in the end football is first and last about money.
Agree. Always has been.
We lost Walker because of money and other first teamers heads have been turned because of money.
Agree Walker. Rose maybe, do you know about others?

Poch can no longer get a tune out of this team because they are not pulling together in the same way and for many of them their heads are elsewhere.
See CL and Liverpool game.

For my part I think the board it doing what it can with the resources at it's disposal, but in general they flinch at the critical times which costs money in the long run.
Meh.

Had we signed Mane rather than Sissoko and Janssen we may have already won a league title.
Every team every season can say had we done this instead of that we'd have won the league or not been relegated.

Now our golden crop has broken down and it is hard to see how we will keep it all together, obviously after a defeat people tend to see things a bit glass half-empty.
See CL games and Liverpool game. Were top 3 until a few weeks ago and thats with playing at Wembley so thats just capoppycock. Agree people overreacting.

I don't think it is much of a debate that overall we have been poor in most matches this season. When we have had the odd good result, we haven't taken it into the next game.
Well we've had long term injuries to key players mate and arent playing at whl so we're not likely to be looking better than last season.
I think, and hope, you'll see us kick on in new year with Lamela, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Wanyama and Rose all fully fit.
Thats a lot of quality to be missing.
Watch us beat Juventus in CL and then watch a revision of opinions on here.
You wont hear from these 'fans' then.

Hope you are right...down to Poch to turn things around

Enic have been fantastic but I do believe that they have taken us about as far as they can.
We are the perfect club for very rich investors, great training facilities, great fan base, amazing new ground being built. With big investment we could be a top team in Europe for decades
Yes but how boring would that be.

It doesn't matter whether it's his first or 10th win guardiola is an outstanding manager who gets his players playing better when he takes over.
The disappointment for us is the slight regression of the team this year our passing is painfully slow and we are not as solid as last year plus I find us boring to watch this season I'm sad to say.
Poch improves his players and is an outstanding manager. There has been a dip in form because of injuries and new players. The loss of form in some players has been critical, especially Eriksen. Eriksen has had the weight of a nation on his shoulders; it's not the same for City's players. And if you can't argue against my main point, then don't try distraction: no one wins.

We were also soundly beaten by Arsenal and Leicester. The former of which we barely turned up for. Our league form is awful and we look very far off being a top 4 side let alone a title challenger.

We are a poor side now, nothing to do with agenda.

If we were losing games 3 nil at home I'd be panicking. But we're not. So I'm not.

We'll make top 4.

New players come in every year so do injuries so that doesn't stack up and don't be so fucking touchy no one is arguing with you only raising valid points and or concerns which is what this forum is for, one are all here for one common goal so lighten up a bit.

You're telling me to lighten up?:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: You couldn't argue yourself out of a kindergarten. Your points are only valid in your head. And I'm not sure there is a common goal, because there are a lot on here who stab a number of our players in the back; they channel their inner Sherwood.

Leicester? lol even you must be looking at that and laughing that you even said it.

And Dave, TBF, your posting rate goes through the roof when we get beat. You know it, I know it, we all know it. After the Stoke and Brighton games I almost sent a search party out to find you.

So it's hardly surprising people are going to throw agenda at you even if in your case it might not be. You could very well get sexually excited by moaning (and not the oooh oooh give it to me harder kind either) :D

Haha, good banter but somewhat untrue.

I wrote after the Brighton game how impressed I was with Lamela.

Obviously there are more discussion points after a defeat.

I don't think I'm alone in thinking all is not well behind the scenes at Spurs.

I just watched the match again. City broke through our press so easily. DeBruyne was bosses Dembele both with and without the ball. I still maintain a fully fit Wanyama in there and we would have had much better platform to work from. Not saying we would have won but we would have competed much more. No one would waltz past Big Vic like DeBruyne was able to do to Dembele.

We actually gifted them every single goal.
Corner
X2 sloppy throw ins
And a disaster by Dier.

Take those out and we actually didn’t do too bad :ROFLMAO:

Without the goals they still would have won with ease had lloris not been on his game such was the ineptitude of the performance.

Just watching the game as I missed it on Sat, am I the only one that thinks Otamendi should have got a red for booting Kane in the face with a ridiculously high foot nowhere near the ball? Commentators didn't even say anything about it or bring in the useless ref that they have commentating on decisions.

Overall we were so poor first half, completely in awe of City and barely getting out of our half while they had about 10 shots at goal. Our passing was slow, negative and overall useless. Don't know how Poch didn't make any changes at half time, Sane practically retired Trippier.

Absolute Bollox?

So we didn’t have anyone calling for Enic’s removal pre Poch? They haven’t been quiet over the last 2-3 seasons? We haven’t gone that step further when the trolls were saying we couldn’t under Enic?

Articulate man, back it up.
There is never a good time to criticize though, if someone does it when we are winning, people are less likely to listen.

Don’t agree mate, constructive critique is more likely to be listened to at any time, winning or losing.

It is the same old people with an Enic axe to grind who are conspicuous by their absence when we are doing well, but show up in droves once we hit a bad patch, rolling out the same tired rhetoric that they’ve taken us as far as they can. It happened when we were consolidating a top 6 spot, it happened when we failed to make top 4 after our first CL outing. They’ve been quiet throughout the last 2 years and now they’re back as soon as we hit a rough patch.

This isn’t bollox, it’s plain fact. I’ve asked for the poster to articulate the claim that this is bollox, the silence is deafening.

Agree with the boot especially with Mane being sent off for Liverpool against City at the Eitihad for exactly the same offence !!

I think was a case of Ref didn't want to have as big an influence in the game after his Scouse match, think he was looking for under the radar performance, it's probably the same reason Kane and Alli weren't sent off.
