Playing city again this soon is really bizarre. I don't think I can remember a situation like this in all my football watching days from any club let alone spurs.
We famously played Wimbledon 4 times in a couple of weeks back in the George Graham days.

Just read the Kyle a walker interview, can’t help but be reminded he is bit of a tool.

After the quarter final this game will go one of 3 ways. Both clubs will be physically exhausted a produce a boring draw. City will want revenge and be absolutely rampant, or we will have induced a big dip in their form. Can’t help but think our injury situations means that it’s more likely to be one of the first two rather than the third

Do you think we'll wear green again?

Came in just to post about this and wondered if anyone else thought it was a bit of a kit clash. Thought it was just me but then I saw an article on it. According to the Premier League we are set to wear green again.

I definitely didn't think it would be a problem beforehand but when watching it the colours somehow felt a little bit close. I think our navy kit would differ a lot better.

I agree, it made it diffi ult watching for me, but my family disagreed... ?‍♂️

I do think though that it could give us a minimal psychological advantage, some sort of subconscious trigger!

I'm too emotionally drained to play them again so soon. I wonder hoe the players feel?

I assume Son will play tomorrow, as he cannot play against Ajax.

When was the last time Man City prevented Son from scoring? They have major difficulty defending him.

The game on Wednesday was a madhouse, but once the dust settled, one thing we learned is that Man City are discomfited by pace. They aren't accustomed to playing against teams who have players who are as fast as theirs. We may throw Son, Moura and Rose at them and see what happens.

Fuck knows what we'll do for a midfield. Dier might be able to limp onto the pitch. Skipp? Wanyama in his third match in a week, after months out?

As we can’t afford any more injuries, I think we’d start with either Son or Moura and whoever starts will be replaced by the other some time in the second half. With the players available in our midfield , I’d think they would just run through our midfield so I’d Guess that we’d play the Long ball over their midfield for our pacier players to run at the ball.

We have three PL games before we play the first leg against Ajax. As, on paper, the other two fixtures would be easier for us, I’d think that Poch might save some legs for the Brighton & Spam games.

Because it is a league game and the nature of how Wednesday went with both teams leaving it out there. Don't expect an open crazy game again. Low scoring draw for me.

Some fans and pundits are talking about this game as a 'free hit' for Spurs, that they can lose it and move on with their season.

Although that's factually correct, I disagree with that mentality.

We should view this as a cup final, because if we get 3pts today it almost guarantees us Top 4.

And anyway, no games are 'free hits' for a big club; we want to beat everyone, every time!

Park the bus and have Son as an outlet.

Lloris
Trippier
KWP
Toby
Sanchez
Foyth
Jan
Davies
Rose
Dier
Son

Don't park the bus, we'll get beaten

Whoever plays, we need to get at them with high pressing and pace on the counter. City are vulnerable when teams get up in their grill.

Totally agree.
With so many injuries and a belter of scrap on Wednesday I think pragmatism has taken over and people are just remaining calm.
Brighton on Tuesday will be a must win so the focus has shifted.
Poch will be looking to keep the momentum up?

You're right, fans are looking at the Brighton game.

But I think with the right mentality and fight, our injury ravaged squad can still get a result today.

I still think we've got the mental edge going into this game.

For me today is a win win. If we lose, it makes Liverpool less likely to win the league and City more likely, and that pleases me as a lesser of two evils.

And if we win, well obviously that’s brilliant. So really for me, today is a game to try and enjoy. I just hope we put in a good performance.

I have a strange feeling about today that we may just come away with all 3 points.

So you're predicting that it'll either be a draw, City win or Spurs win?
