They'll be extra fired up for the League now. Their squad depth blows us right out of the water even if all of ours were fit. As it is we're relying heavily on 3rd string options. Will be an almighty performance if we grab a point IMO.

Just read the Kyle a walker interview, can’t help but be reminded he is bit of a tool.

After the quarter final this game will go one of 3 ways. Both clubs will be physically exhausted a produce a boring draw. City will want revenge and be absolutely rampant, or we will have induced a big dip in their form. Can’t help but think our injury situations means that it’s more likely to be one of the first two rather than the third

What did he say?

Don't park the bus, we'll get beaten

Whoever plays, we need to get at them with high pressing and pace on the counter. City are vulnerable when teams get up in their grill.

To many teams park the bus vs city and don’t even have a go.
Their weakness is their defence and most games they don’t do any defending

I see this one as a bit of a freebee.mentally and physically we must be depleated.

Wouldn't be surprises if we changed formation just to keep city on their toes. D

Can see them scoring an early goal then the rest of match will be played in 3rd gear with City getting the narrow win... Bit like the Wembley match.

I’m normally optimistic but I think we will get battered to be honest. We’ve got way too many injuries and the players that are fit will be knackered.

They could almost rotate their whole team from Wednesday, if we do that half of them will be kids.

They'll expect us to be a bit meh about this one so when we come out and give it everthing we've got right from the start they'll get the shock of their lives.
Genuinely if they can't score in the first half hour the pressure on them will be unbearable, it'll be coming at them from every angle, the CL result, the title run in and their fans, the fear of failure and/or that the Gods have forsaken them and they will crack no question.

Really think we will see a lot of changes to the team today. I just hope Son starts, can’t play in the first leg of the semi so see no reason he can’t get another go at City today.

They will probably spank us, our team spent everything in CL game and we don't have great rotation options, City have better than anyone. Maybe if one of their players gets a red card.

I think forfeiting the game would be good... 3-0 loss is fine for me... I think the remaining games are where we will need to pick up the points...

That way, no more injuries, fresher legs, 3-0 wont damage our GD too much and well... it would piss of Liverscum fans

Having said that if we insist on playing this game, we will win it 3-2 to Spurs.

So what you are saying is we will either win, lose or draw?

Personally, I hope we rest players for this one. I would rather let players recover one game than lose those nursing injuries or tired for the final 4 matches.

Whatever the final result is, I just hope it isn’t a draw.

I also hope we don’t have further injuries as we are really down to the bare bones now (and no, I’m not HR)

What games have we got between today and Ajax in the 1st leg?

The BBC says Brighton & West Ham, if that's right then I'd understand it if Pochettino decided to rest Son today given that if he did play and then played in our next two games that'd mean he'll have played four games in ten days. If we're going to rest him, there's a chance it'll be today, play him in the next two and the first leg will be another chance to give him a break.

But we're short of bodies so who knows?

If i'm not wrong, judging by the spurs tweet of them arriving at City, alfie whiteman is with the team as well.. which may mean Gazza starts in goal.. Janssen and Dier are with the team as well.
