You do remind me of him a bit.

Honestly I think we'll win, we're the better team - even if they have better individuals, I'm not convinced they're a fit enough side to cope with our high energy.

Am on my fifth Peroni mind.

Lamela was MOM in the City fixture at the lane and was coming back into form last match. Son doesnt have any where near the pressing ability and has been consistently inconsistent all year. I dont like it.

Last game, Davies and Trippier were immense and Trippier won us the game. You have to reward that performance.
Son does have similar pressing ability though. Not sure what foot people are standing on with saying he doesn't.

Very similar tackle+interception per minute stats.

Time for us to start putting this Spursy tag to bed and deliver 3 points in a big game like this, when there is a real opportunity to kick on.

A win today would send a message out to everyone.

Most definitely Davies over Rose without a doubt, cannot understand that one -Currently Davies is a much better defender and player for me.
Davies has just done an interview in the Independent, it's on here somewhere where he says the training is so intense and the fullbacks have to do more running than any other position that they have to rotate each match.

Sherwood's on MOTD again today- I'm sure if we don't get a positive result, he'll tell us how it's done. Will be amusing to see him analyse Villa's performance though.

Yes he does, fouls less too, which will probably be big here.

Always knew we were getting that type of player when we got him from Leverkusen, who employ one of the craziest high presses you will ever see.

Well no not really, only Dembele and alli average more tackles and interceptions per match

Pool winning by 6 RAWK will be thinking they can win the league again

I reckon Villa will win the Prem next year.

Imagine a Leicester fan saying that this time last year.

Anyway, I'll go for an unusually optimistic but slightly less optimistic than others 1-1.

City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Otamendi, Clichy, Fernandinho, Fernando, Toure, Sterling, Silva, Aguero

Subs: Caballero, Kolarov, Demichelis, A.Garcia, M.Garcia, Celina, Iheanacho

Bollocks, why does Pelligrini choose this week to wise up to Yaya being a liability in the CM2.

I hope so. This is the first time all season I have felt nervous about a game.

I'd prefered Davies and Lamela to Rose and Son, mainly because of their defensive qualities. That being said, let's do this. COYS!
