So what do we do if we get a £27-30m offer.
I think we all know what DL will do...

If we sell him to Man U i'm going to absolutely blow a gasket. I don't blame him for being annoyed at lack of playing time. He's our best defender. He should be playing.

The good news for some of you will be that the force of my anger will probably take out the MK Dons stadium, solving at least one problem...

I've been expecting this for a while. I think he's known about it for a while and his moods have been to drive the price down. It's worked, he might be worth 25 mil to utd but if he's sulking continuously he's not worth it to us.

Sucks, I know.

Bye. Bloke has had one good season with us (his first) since then hes been average at best. Seems to only play well when everybody else is. He doesnt lead & moans about playing out of position. If anyone offers in the excess of 20m we should take it.

This squad needs a bit of a rebuild anyway. Only player i dont want to lose is Lloris but we all know that will happen soon enough :(

Yeah this seems to have been on the cards for a while now. Oh well onwards and upwards (hopefully).

He ambles about out there like he doesn't give a fuck, so I don't give a fuck what he does.

Doesn't want to sign a new contract? Yeah, bye then. Let's get as much profit as humanly possible and get someone that actually looks like they care what's happening out on the pitch.

Remmember If the player wants out he will get his move sooner than later. This started last summer IMHO
If we get a good price then fine. It's hardly come as a shock

Sadly, it looks like he will go. Similar to Pauli on the other thread, attitude problem. However He will jump out the frying pan into the fire with LVG as manager...At £20m from Man. Utd. Levy will take it...

Onwards and downwards more likely. Another very good player who can't seem to get it right at Spurs (like Siggy and Benny) ....he should be a starting player in the squad based on ability, and, is "attitude" really that important if he is playing well?
So the guy is a laid-back sort of personality, message to his team mates: get him excited by winning a few more games and laying it on the line more. I think the whole team could do with a rocket up their asses sometimes.......

Sorry about that................well I'm not really.

I said this in another thread and got criticised.

He will be great for united and wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave this circus.

Totally fleece them and bring in 2 CBs that poch wants.

I actually wouldn't be too devastated at this tbh, We must screw them though and shinehead must let poch use the proceeds.

In a team game, it counts for a huge amount.
I sense that Jan sees himself (correctly) as our most talented individual defender, but the defence has to be a strong unit, not 4 talented individuals.

He is a very good player but he hasn't shown that with us consistently.

To those that say his talent is more important than his mentality I would say that whilst his ability is useful on the pitch, his character and mentality will have a far greater effect on the players around him.

I'd rather we sold him and brought in one or two players with a more committed attitude.

For me, defensively he is incredibly overrated....he switches off far too much, often ball-watching. I've no doubt he's a good footballer technically, but I really don't think he's got the tools to make the most of his potential.

The only other thing it could be is his attitude, if he goes to a big club and starts playing out of his skin, then that might give us an indication...either way, he doesn't seem to give a monkey's fuck. This is the guy who has publicly talked up club after club while at Ajax (where, let's not forget his contract was running out), including Arscum, before us.

Although we're not exactly blessed with anyone that seems like they know what they're doing back there, I think it's not us, it's Jan...and we're probably better off cashing in, trying again or giving someone else a shout.

Have they got the technology to rebuild Ledders yet? I miss him.

If we get a good offer we should sell. It is obvious this bloke feels he is above Spurs and does not want to play for us. It is likely he is a disruptive and negative influence in the dressing room. Crucially, his performances have been poor.
