I remember Chelsea doing the same thing a couple seasons back in a semi against us, it might've been the same game as the Son at left back fiasco. Either way I remember looking at their team sheet and thinking "negative pricks, they're there for the taking", they weren't, we lost, I avoided football for a week.

Still this Manager's worst moment at the club for me - deploying Son at wing back rather than having the bottle to drop another forward (Son had been in great form).

I knew it would cost us the game as soon as I saw the lineup.

Most of you seem to underrate the strength of Manu's line up. Let's hope it doesnt come back to bite you all in the ass.

I don't think anybody's underestimating it, I think it's a strange line up given they're at home but (cliche time) they've got the ability to hurt anybody even without Mata, Martial and Sanchez.

It was actually to deal with the pace of Moses, Davies would have played but Chelsea's counter attack was notoriously very quick

I think that was the game Conte dropped Hazard and Costa to the bench, and the buzz around the Spurs fans was almost as if we were already in the final.

Impossible to say what shape Utd will have, my guess would be something like a 4-4-2 narrow diamond midfield. I think it's safe to say though that they are going to park several buses in the centre of the pitch, force us wide and invite the fullbacks to push forward, and then look to counter attack when they can.

Why do people keep saying this? It's just totally counter productive dropping one of our best players for an off the field incident.

Let the club deal with it internally and move on.
Nothing to do with punishing him, more to do with his mental state and whether he can fully concentrate for 90+ minutes. Only time will tell I suppose.

If he wasn't in the right frame of mind I doubt that he'd be picked.

Very happy with Alderweireld and Rose in for Sanchez and Davies. Best possible defence we could field, if we're playing a 4.
