IIRC it was Kicker who revealed the Son deal before anyone else.

BILD is essentially the equivalent of the Mirror here - it's the best selling tabloid in Germany.

this kid isn't Neymar. I don't know why we are laughing off signings like this for a team who could have easily been champions last season.

glad if true, ok if not, but prefer him to wijnaldum.. not a solid performer in his country and club in the last season or so, but is someone I could see making improvement and a come back to his Dortmund form under Poch.. that is if he is willing to take some pay-cut.. it might just be great coming to us and having his international career revived for WC in two years time..

I reckon this guy would cost north of 30mill and wages could be more tan 100K a week.

Big statement if we get him but seems unlikely imo

Good to see that the black box is being put to good use finding unknown talent like this.

if we are to blow our budget, draxler looks better
Draxler is being talked about for £40m plus, Gotze has a year on his contract and around £20m to £25m. Different financial game. Also Draxler has been quite injury prone in his career so far.

i would say fitness and training method plays a huge part in injury proness of a player, eg. arsenal. even the way you run, directly affects injury because of how you overcompensate certain muscles to do certain moves. i'm confident with poch's training methods.

and to be objective, if i was gotze, i would rather go liverpool. more wages, a coach that knows how to fully utilize me etc

Obviously Kiopp is a major draw to the errant son, so to speak. But then again, maybe he wants to strike out somewhere new, and Liverpool are incredibly stacked for AMs, even more so than us.

A lot of these transfers is how you woo the player, and more importantly the agent - as we're seeing with United and how Mourinho is so tight with the likes of Mendes and Raiola.

Despite what people say gotze is an incredible player that has simply lost his way...poch would see him become the player he was on his way to being in his dortmund days. His weight would drop, energy levels rise and tuned in to the maximum mentally..

Front 4 of eriksen,gotze, lamela, kane:wideyed:

Get it done, then we can sell chadli, carroll, mason or bentaleb.
Perhaps poch can see alli partnering wanyama in some games and dembele/dier in others?
