The special player we need, he's the type of signing we should be making as a Champions League Club.

Not Wijanldum, Mario fucking Gotze.

I don't think it's going to happen, but I don't get why this story is completely laughed at. He has 1 year left on his contract, has played in Dortmund's pressing system, and is still quite young.

Still much more believable than the Icardi nonsense.

I mentioned him the other day as the sort of opportunistic signing we should be looking at, sounds like he would have been at Liverpool already if they won the EL.

I think Poch could really get him fit and firing.

Unfortunately I also think theres no way we could pull it off! (Hoping I'm wrong)

Don't think it's necessarily as laughable as some people are making out, his stock has fallen considerably in the last season or 2, and we would be a good launch pad for him to reignite his career. I mean, people were giving serious credence to the prospect of him joining Liverpool this summer

For the record I don't think it will happen, but it's not as if we are being linked to Lionel Messi or Surez or even a Griezemann level player

Bild is quite reliable with German players, they broke the Son and Holtby signings If I remember correctly.

Would love to check back on the Son thread, could be on to something there. Have a feeling it might have been kicker though.

He's also one of the highest earners in the Bundesliga.

He is only 24 so within Poch's preferred age range. Can't see it though, unfortunately.

About as likely as Jessica Alba turning up at my place in a French maid outfit and me saying "sorry love...I'm perfecting my tofu and cucumber recipe".

Isn't he in the same situation as VdV was when we signed him? Pretty much invited to leave by Bayern?
From what i've read in the rags here in sweden they (Bayern, not the journalists) are less than impressed by his attitude. He is said to lack desire and isn't willing to put in the required amount of work to push on. If true he wouldn't be a poch type player?
