Bill Nick will be spinning in his grave.

The only good thing to come from Hughes as manager would be the improved fitness levels.

If he did take over then we get to look forward to our team having to kick the opposition off the pitch and become the new bully boys of the league.

"not my opinion,we are after him..i think with the right players could be a gr8 manager, done well on a tight budget at blackburn, and theyve played some good stuff at the lane havent they."

"no idea re commoli..we want him 100% but alot to negotiate."

I suppose the only carrot to him would be UEFA this season.

Doubt he would jump ship - he's got a good thing going on at t'Rovers. I hate how just because we are interested in him that some think that it automatically means we're going to get him. It's awfully big-headed.

Its not ideal, but right now i think some form of change is needed and i would take this tbh.

However im not in anyway convinced this is going to happen. Why woul he move from where he is now to a team in the bottom 3 and looking like its going to struggle to move up?

He might bring the newly recovered from 14 month injury Steven Reid with him.

This is wrong. Everyone and his cat knows a deal has been done with Jose. Anyone we get in will be purely as caretaker.

Mark fcuking Hughes as Spurs manager.
If it wasn't so frighteningly possible I would cry.
This would rank alongside the signing of Andy Booth as as Spurs player.

Kinda skipped over the point that he got them there. IMO he is a solid manager.

Almost matched us spending a fraction of what we did.

I don't want Jol to go but I would be delighted with Hughes on board (I watched his Wales games too so I know a little more being a sheep shagger)

Will/would not attract the quality of players required to further the CL delusion. As such, would not improve Levy's potential profit....unless we really have entered 'meltdown'.....rhubarb.

Still can't shift the nightmare that Levy and Comolli might think McClaren could fit the bill.....'England's number one'(clown).

Let's face it, he couldn't do much worse. If he can get us to beat anyone other than Derby, that's an improvement.
