This makes little sense, so doubt it's true.

Aston Villa lead race for Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka ahead of Manchester United and Tottenham
  • Aston Villa, Manchester United and Tottenham are interested in Martin Dubravka
  • Monaco and Porto are also in pursuit of the £12million-rated Slovakian keeper
  • Clubs are looking to take advantage of the current turmoil at St James' Park
  • It is understood Dubravka is unsettled by Rafa Benitez's recent departure
Aston Villa are among the Premier League clubs with Manchester United and Tottenham interested in signing Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Monaco and Porto are also in the hunt for the £12million-rated Slovakian shot stopper.

Clubs want to take advantage of the current turmoil at managerless Newcastle.

Tottenham want greater competition for Hugo Lloris, who has become more error strewn in recent seasons.

His mistake was another one of those moments that saw us finish in the top 4. He looks solid though, I think I remember he played against us on his debut and had a great match.

No 1 priority in a goalkeeper right now is that they're homegrown. Well, and that they have hands.

It's a no from me.

He's worse than Lloris. Gazzaniga is fantastic as back-up GK. He's not a homegrown. So bullshit.

#3 GK really should be HG now. So if we dont sign an HG keeper, then let Austin and Whiteman battle it out.

Imo Gazzaniga is the next 1st keeper when Lloris retires. Alfie Withman is bumped up as 3rd choice so need to widen that area

Imo, Gazzaniga is nowhere near good enough to be first choice for us. If/when Lloris leaves, we’ll have to invest heavily to replace him.
