Yeah, but the big fella is a real low temperature dude. I doubt you'd get him to say a bad word about many people, he seems very much like a "water under the bridge" kinda bloke.

I miss him :(

Has a lot of football knowledge and I wouldn't mind seeing him in Baldini's position.

Has very little experience of buying players or dealing with players contracts, he always had someone to do that for him at spurs and in the continent.

I think he's eyeing a return. If Pochettino fails (and seeing as Levy has once again decided not to back his manager, he probably will), our options will start to look thin on the ground.

Where on earth do you get that from?

Didn't Jol once in a post-match interview make some barbed comment that the chairman knows nothing about football.

He would probably like to work in England again and as Fulham didn't go too well, his best job reference can only come from DL and Spurs.

I remember George Graham was very disparaging about the club and the board after he left and he's never had another job in English club football since....

He's not trying to go back to spurs specifically, he's just keeping in the media spotlight much as possible while he looks for work. He's not going to increase his chances of getting a Job if he slags off his old bosses, and any journo will always ask about Levy.

Did you not see our transfer window?

presumably you mean we didn't keep on after Schneiderlin when the price jumped to 27m. On the basis of that I think it's a bit of a leap to conclude that Levy did not, and will not back Pochettino. Complete knee jerk BS.

Manager wants a player that's a bit over priced.
Chairman doesn't buy.
Chairman buys unknown instead.

Manager wants another player that's abit over priced (Mussachio)
Chairman doesn't buy
Chairman buys unknown instead.

Sounds like most Windows.

*for the record, I'm not saying we should or shouldn't have paid over the odds for those players. I'm simply saying the chairman refused to push the boat out to back the manager in the market.
