I'll only deal with the second analogy, as the first one about the boat is clearly nonsense.

Ok, firstly you can't even use a girlfriend situation as the analogy. This is an employee and employer. If you base your relationships on the same kinda rules, it's clear now why you've been single for so long!

A boyfriend shouldn't be keeping tabs on other girls while he's in a relationship, so he has something lined up if she leaves him. But a football club has to do exactly that.

A football club is always looking to upgrade. We may be reasonably happy with our employees (as an example, the players) but if better become available then we have to move for them. The whole thing just can't be compared to some simple little boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.

Have the board been insulting to Jol? I haven't read that, although I have read comments from Jol undermining Comolli. So really in your analogy, after getting dumped by his girl the bloke then goes around telling everyone she was shit in bed.

Actually, I'm gonna stop there. This is just silly, and I haven't got the time for this.

Jol was a good manager. He did well to get us to 5th in the league, and he's a top bloke, but more was expected of him so he got replaced by someone better.

I've got no hard feelings towards him, but I personally feel it's a bit classless if he starts slagging off his past employers.

I also think it's a bit sad that people on this board will spread lies and bullshit just to make Jol look better, and the board look worse. I don't understand it myself.

I'm glad you said if Shady because as of yet I haven't seen anything that Jol has actually said that would be classed as him slagging his last employers.

Until ramos gets fourth and or a trophy, I'd be careful with the better comment, far too early to know if Ramos can beat 5th and 5th again.

You said in your previous post that football clubs are always looking to upgrade, I'd say that's possible where you and Spurs are going wrong, we need something alot more subtle, never upgrading or never looking to will mean falling behind and I agree with you there, however constantly upgrading or on a far to frequent basis means no stability or continuity which is as vital if you want to achieve success, getting the balance right is the magic trick, Spurs haven't managed that in 30 odd years.

As for the bullshit, your right plenty of bullshit to be had, but as much bullshit has been spouted from the lets stand by the board group as by the why the fuck was Jol shafted group. Fairly even me thinks.

And you can't just redefine words either. Jol is not a legend, the club didn't take the piss out of him, he didn't over achieve, and he wouldn't still have a job even if he was Comolli's best fucking mate. Not "my opinions", but facts.
