Massimo Luongo, Dean Parrett and Nathan Byrne have joined League One promotion-chasers Swindon Town on loan until the end of the season

Late lifting of Swindon's registration embargo this pm.

Best of luck to the three amigos, hope they get some games under their belts

All 3 have experience at this level or higher in the case of Luongo. Could open up Swindon as a Championship loan venue next season, now that cpould be interesting !

Swindon are 2nd in League One, so this could be a really great experience for them. Unless they're just gonna be sat on the bench!

Should imagine Luongo is in with a shout of a starting place. Not sure about Parrett - surely Swindon won't want a central midfield pairing of two youngsters?

Byrne should be interesting too, yet talented young full back.

I get the impression Swindon are short of bodies full stop.

Think Byrne gives them an option at either FB and maybe RM, Luongo as a DM/CM, Parrett could fill multiple roles for them including no 10 (if they can change to a 4231), CM, RM or even a false no 9 as they are apparantly short of strikers (but not sure if they could deal with that).

Think its too soon to expect them to appear today (unless they have already been training at Swindon), but might come off the bench. Otherwise their next match is on Monday 1 April.

Byrne got the assist for the goal. Apparantly Swindon strikers missed a hatful, many set up by the Spurs trio.

Thought it might be interesting to see the last 10 minutes of the BBC report of the match - our trio seemed to be contributing quite a lot.

Hope Swindon will get promotion with the help of our trio, who would get much needed playing time and winning experience.

Here are the managers views for the three at swindon see bottom

On the new signings…
They all performed well. Nathan Byrne came on and did very well and I thought Dean Parrett created a lot of chances. Massimo did well and got involved straightaway. They didn’t have long with the squad before the game but we needed to change things a little. We have said all along that the players we have brought in have come in to complement the good players we have here.

Great comments from the manager. I think we know these guys have the talent, that's not being questioned, it's the consistency. Still great start. Interesting to see Dean starting wide right.

It could be very beneficial for our youngsters under McDonald. He had a great reputation for his work with the youngsters at Villa

Even moreso if they stayed with them next season in the Championship

Lots of injuries, has lost a yard of pace, but still a hard working striker with a respectable goal tally.

From Swindon forum opinion is divided as to who had the better debut, Dean, Massimo or Nathan, but they seem well pleased with all three:
