Damn you’ve been dealt a tough hand there and are still smiling. Posts like this do help put life in perspective. So glad we won the game for you. Good luck with your health, does sound like you are due some. (y)

have posted in another thread I really hope you stay clear and will repeat in this. Cancer is evil, I lost my mum at the age of 6, and my niece died of it at the age of 37, her sister survived it, as has my sister-in-law.

was a great result for you today, and hope you like the visit to the new stadium even if not finished it's an incredible site and just a shame it's not complete.

As others have said it puts it into perspective, all the moaning we have had on this site over the last few months. yes we all want the best for Spurs, but so much more happening in life to try and be positive about. I know I've an anxious 3 week wait for tests (would of been last Monday, but had no 1 to take me, or care for me). I just hope if it's a negative result I have the same fight as you(y)

Hi guys just an update about how I got on. Brilliant day, Wembley was amazing and the result even better. Going to see the New Stadium tomorrow if I'm up to it. Unfortunately I fell twice in London and had to use crutches again. Everyone at the ground was fantastic and even swapped my friends seat so they could sit next to me. I also got to meet Dele Alli and he signed my match programme. I wish I could say the same about Christian Eriksen. One of my favourite players, unfortunately he refused to even roll down his window. Was gutted but a great day and a great result. So much love for everyone on here. Pictures to follow when I get home ❤❤❤❤

Hi to everyone on Spurscommunity. I've been a member of this wonderful website that is a home to so many of us Tottenham fans. I live in the North Of Ireland but spent a lot of my childhood growing up in North London Islington. As you could imagine my English family tried to indoctrinate me into the Arsenal ? family but thankfully my Irish Father had other ideas and when he came back from Job in the Isle of Man every Winter he would bring me to WHL. I was always a very timid and anxious boy afraid of crowds but as time grew I began to love the place and more importantly the fans. My father died when I was very young and my Mum had a terrible accident that left her severely brain damaged. I looked after her 24 hours a day for 20 years but I still was able to fly over to London at least 5 times per year, we had moved back to Ireland after Mums accident. Then just a few years after my Mum passed I started to get sick then really sick. Then came "The News" I was in hospital because they thought I had an infected hip, unfortunately it wasn't, it was stage 4 blood & bone cancer. Anyway after a years worth of chemotherapy and two strokes later here I am. Laying in bed in Belfast playing Fifa 18 on Xbox One, bag packed, match tickets sorted, medications sorted and a letter from my Consultant saying I'm fit to travel. This is probably going to be the biggest game of my life and I can't wait until 5am when I head to the airport. I never thought in a million years would I see my beloved Tottenham play again in the flesh and almost as important is the fans! You guys, I still suffer from anxiety but I've always thought we are a big family and people will always chat to me, even though I have the terrible Belfast accent LOL, we all might not agree with everything that is said on these forums but we all still love the Club and I hope each other. I don't know why I have decided to write this tonight, maybe its just my way of leaving a little bit of me on the forums when the inevitability happens and I hope that over the years I've ran into a few people here a bought them a drink as I've done many times and also had the same generosity back from so many good people at White Hart Lane. I'm truly sorry for the rambling tonight guys, let's hope we get the 3pts and I can make my way up the Tottenham High Road to see our new home. COYS

Awful to hear about the constant trauma you have gone through. What strength you are showing.
Glad we won today to make your day even more special.

Great result and im thrilled that we all got the win that meant so much to you.

your spirit does you proud. good on ya.

shame about christian eriksen. maybe worth a quick line to the club? players have a responsibility to fans i think and a little courtesy goes a long way.

I was really really surprised about Christian Eriksen. I just hope he was having a bad day and thats not his attitude at all times ❤

Don’t take it personally bud - he had a pretty crap game and just wanted to get out of there. Shows he cares about that at least!

Sounds like a great day! Meeting Dele is an achievement in itself! It’s difficult to get access to players thesedays.

Great Great day buddy and Harry scored in August ❤?❤?

Since you managed to get over here and see the game, Harry scoring in August and all that, I think the club should make sure you get to every home game from now on, a free season ticket for life, travel and accomodation?? Pleased you had a great day and brought us some luck.????????
