If Bayern do get big wedge for Boateng from a PL team or one of the Milans I can see them getting De Ligt after all.

Why do this deal for 50 when we could do Lenglet for 35? Seems like Lenglet is ok to play a bit part role with Barcelona, backing up Umtiti could be a long time on the bench which is weird.. Wonder if we could convince him to be the replacement for Verts in a year or two.

Agreed. I would be sad we missed out on by all accounts our two main targets but not as much if they went to a rival. I don't think any of us are clued in with what is going with Juve so maybe they are going big this year or it could all just be talk and speculation from Italian media which are not known for accuracy.

Ajax are signing Dusan Tadic from Southampton, which is a big statement of intent from them. He may well be persuaded to stay at Ajax for another year...
