Fuck it, if we lose Lloris it's not like we didn't see it coming. This guy looks like the type of target we should be going for. We should have been planning to replace Hugo all year.

Moneyball!! Sell Lloris, bring this guy in for 10m less

He's a massive talent, if Lloris does want to go Perin would be top of my list

Reports in Britain are linking Tottenham Hotspur with a move for Mattia Perin, but his agent says it won’t happen.

The Genoa goalkeeper is seen as one of the rising stars of Italian football, and The Sun has linked Spurs with a move the Italian international.

However, his agent has moved to quash any speculation, explaining that Perin wouldn’t leave to play second fiddle to Hugo Lloris.

“I have an excellent relationship with Tottenham, in particular with [technical director] Franco Baldini,” Matteo Roggi explained, speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.

“However, I can tell you that I haven’t received and offer for Mattia.
“Tottenham are aiming for the Champions League next year, so they’ve decided not to sell the two totems of their squad for any price, that means Harry Kane or Lloris.

“Mattia is a number 1, and Tottenham are well aware of that, as are Bayern [Munich]. That’s why they won’t move for him.”

By the sounds of that, Perin might be our replacement for Lloris if/when he leaves next summer.

I'd be delighted with that, he's quality.

Finally I think I've found an agent whose jib I like the cut of...
