But his general play was great and it wasn't an easy goal to take. If he plays like that each week the goals will come.

I must admit - after the last five years of speculation linking us with strikers, this summer I didn't lose any sleep tracking who we were linked with... When the announcement was made regarding Janssen I was straight onto YouTube and watching highlights, reading analysts opinions, and changing dinner dates with the missus when Spurs were down under in Australia to watch our new striker on the tv. What struck me was his hunger to involve others, chase causes and generally make a nuisance of himself. This is a trait Suarez mastered, and subsequently propelled him into becoming one of the most sought after strikers on the planet. Whilst Saurez obviously has a brilliant technique to match - I have to say that willingness to work is something that is rare these days - think Bellotelli.

Janssen is yet to officially open his account for the lily whites, guilty of snatching at chances, but his impact off the bench against Everton could not be ignored, and his overall contribution against a determined Palace outfit mirrored the type of pressing, chasing and harassing one has come to expect of his strike partner and Lane favourite - Harry. That spells trouble for future opposition, to know that regardless of who is up top against Spurs, and potentially both Harry and Vincent pressing your back four - you are in a game... You won't have the luxury of time and space, and once Janssen hits the mark and opens his account his composure I'm sure will become clear.
