If you listen to what Neville and Souness say about Man Ure today, they could in all honesty be talking about the Spurs game.

We have no fighters in the team worthy of the name and are feared my no team. It's o.k. Poch saying that we have to become more focused but anyone following Spurs since AVB came along can see that we are weak across most parts of the pitch, and for sure have a distinct lack of character and leadership. To make Kaboul Captain in my opinion is a huge mistake, he shouldn't even be on the pitch as a starter.

We sold the player who has guts and fight, loved being at spurs as much as we loved him playing for us...Sandro would get them fired up if he was made captain. Even if he has lost some pace, or skill. No worse than Daws. But I can understand Poch. decision, one MF had to go for Benji .. West Brom were up for that game, spurs were not..cos some players mentally, were still travelling back from Belgrade, and some were on their days off..!

Levy has to get a sports physiologist to sort out these players mental attitudes, wake them up..

But the result is not fair because I think it's a draw if you analyse the game.
He's deluded and only fooling himself.
It could easily been 0-3 and they were worthy winners.

Not to mention Lewis Holtby as well. I would've held onto him as a squad member, to challenge for the No.10 spot to Eriksen while offloading Townsend (Lamela and Lennon have that covered).

Really not a good sign to have the manager accuse the players of a lack of passion only half a dozen games into his time with the club.

And only compounded by some delusional comments about how we deserved to get something from that game.

And making Kaboul captain is another very strange decision.

I really want Poch to succeed but the early signs are slightly worrying. I hope he's not another Santini/Ramos.

AVB Mk2 in his summing up, i hope upon hope that this is the only coincidence.

This is my surprise.

Welcome to spurs, mate.

Every game in the Premier League is difficult.

Good luck getting that into some of their thick skulls...jogging around like we'd already won.

Interesting to see how long it will take to purge us of this blasé mentality.

West Brom arrived here with only two points and last in the table but we need to show respect. We were wrong, lack of movement. You need to be aggressive.
"We were wrong in this way. You need to show that you are the best team.

“The way we play you put risk in your game.

Well, he's spot on with what the problem is, no denial. Let's get it sorted poch, they shape up or fuck 'em off and bring through some hungry youngsters to pepper the squad with.

For once I can say I agree with you mate. Don't know what game Poch was watching, for about 60 minutes West Brom was the only team creating goal scoring opportunities.

You know what I would do

Cancel their day off, run the fuckers into the ground and let them know that every time they don't put it in on the pitch they will be putting it in on their rest day.

I thought we looked more balanced when Lennon came on. IMO dier doesn't get forward/cross like either of the kyles and with the inverted winger system we need that outlet.

Now I didn't like the fella by a long shot... but Sherwood said exactly this of this squad about 8 months ago. Unfortunately he was more... erm... frank with his assessment. But essentially the same; not working hard enough, much of a muchness etc etc.

Going to be a long season I'm afraid.
