Jamie played for us his father worked for us, they have a massive insight into the inner sanctums of our club.

Typical Spurs we have too many centre midfielders an injury prone back line and only two strikers and we have an unbelievable squad. Our managers must be unbelievably paid because they all tow the party line. The fact is we needed to sell a few of our central midfielders and cast off the injury prone deadwood at the back and sign a proven centre back and Striker. In the last ten years we have probably received more money than we spent every season but two. Levy's philosophy is pretend to go for the champions league spots just do enough so he is not questioned and if there is questions sack the manager and move on.

I believe there is the bare bones of a top quality side there and with the right investment we could be able to get champions league and build a side that will sustain us through the period the new stadium is getting built. It has been like this for 7-8 years and some of those teams had great foundations to build on but we have never invested. Liverpool in the same period have never had a negative spend, the only two teams around us whom have had negative spends are Arsenal and Everton in past seasons.

Well we really aren't all that are we? We came 6th last season, we didn't win a cup or get close to the any final, we got thrashed several times, we lost to west ham 3 times and we sacked two managers.

Hidden problems behind the scenes isn't too hard to believe

Or maybe Poch is telling the truth, this is easily the best squad he has had in his managerial career, he's also big on squad unity and bonding, what better way to make them all feel great at once than say the squad has unbelievable players.

You miss the point Mullers, its a mentality, morale thing, talk them up and tell them how good they are or can be, Pochettino doesn't strike me as the sort of guy to reel off any of Levy's bullshit in interviews.
