Refreshing to hear a manager happy and none of the "few irons in the fire" bullshit. Now Poch show us your the real deal in the first few games and we could really be having something special.

When asked of his pursuit of £15million-rated Schneiderlin, the former Saints boss said: "No, it is not my style to speak about a player from another club, I don't like that. I have full respect for all of them and I have nothing to say."

all players the Argentinian believes will help the club finish in the top four of the Premier League.

Nowhere in that article does he say that. Usual bullshit.

Reminds me when my boss wrote on my report "Mr X is a very responsible officer....if anything goes wrong around here he's normally responsible".

Unbelievable squad indeed......

Good to hear. Hopefully this will bring the stability that the Club has been crying out for. Instead of this cult of 'rip it up and start again' every couple of seasons. His attitude will also give DL the confidence to stick with him.

We do have a very good squad. But this is a tough league and Poch isn't at Southampton now.

Still think that we need a centre-half (unless Vlad shows us something more than last season) and a striker.

It's the British media, making up bullshit is part of their philosophy.
Guess they always need a fall guy, but wouldn't think Spurs is that worthwhile a pursuit for the media. We've pretty deflated expectations after last season so don't need to be taken down a few pegs, such is the medias apparent purpose.

i just listened to jamie redcrap on sky saying that basically spurs were not all that and had hidden problems behind the scenes
if ever there was a pair of bitter ;revengful tosspots
jamie and harry fit the bill
poch says we have atop squad
redcrap says we have no such thing
who do you think is saying what they feel and who is saying things with an eye to causing doubt and discontent
i swear if i ever met jamie redcrapp in the street i would have to set that man straight as to him being a sly spiteful turd

Regarding Jamie Redknapp, he's only there for the ladies and isn't in the same league as Souness and Neville.

Normally people who don't have an interest in football have the same insight as him.

I didn't realise that he hadn't done interviews in English until this season. How did the media fail to point that out until now? I do hope they go on to remind me of it for the rest of the season as it really is quite remarkable. He speaks English now, but didn't when he first moved here! Really, it's incredible. He learned to speak a new language and now he speaks it! To the Media. Using words and everything.

I agree that jamie is full of bull, i still remember when Venners bought him as a youngster but soon after he left to go back to bournemouth as he was home sick but joined liverpool a few months later - so he been chatting crap all his life

Does he now know English enough to be able to insinuate his thoughts or he still cannot finish a sentence properly? He only said he has an unbelievable squad, but he didn't finish off by telling whether it is good or bad.:)

"Unbelievably" good or "unbelievably" bad?! Reading the match threads, it switches between the two depending on if we're winning or losing. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle....

Love the way he deals with sensitive questions.

Has Poch been getting English lessons from Chris 'unbelievable Jeff' Kamara?
