Tbf if does have a reasonably classy response from him:

"Relationships are broken due to the responsibility of both parties. I do not think there was a culprit. The managers survive by winning games.

"For five and a half years we fought for a clear objective, which was to win and meet certain economic parameters to make the club viable.

"Today they have one of the most beautiful stadiums. I wanted glory, to win a title, but we missed it."

Basically sums up what most level headed people already know - it was just the natural end to a long tenure in modern standards - he exceeded his requirements but possibly pushed too hard to draw a line at the end and it broke him.

Still think he would have left, abiet by his own choosing, if we had won the CL.
