It’s time yet again in N17 for Daniel Levy to pull out another manager to steer the North London side to Champions League qualification.

I'm liking Pochettino more and more with every article I read about him.

*Spurs - Most injuries in the Premiership last season. Not sure we help ourselves half the time.

I'm looking forward to some attractive, attacking football next season and I think MoPo could be the man to produce it for us.

We were competitive. We had one of the best starts, even with bedding in of a teams worth of new players.

Hopefully Poch will be able to build a team spirit quickly as we have a team full of talent. Might even get Rose playing well again...

We tried the boot camp approach with Ramos.
That went down well.

Agree it didn't go down to well but that's down to the attitude of the players not the coaching staff. The coaches job is to get these "professional athletes" performing to the maximum of their abilities, not pander to a bunch of over paid pri madonnas. If they don't like it they should either learn how to tow the line or request a transfer

We have been in the top two for the most injuries in three of the last four seasons. The only one we were mid-table was AVB's full season in charge. Read into that what you may.

There is a difference between old school running and the new scientific approach. Pochettino is in the latter category and a progressive coach with progressive ideas and who most importanly employs a progressive staff.

The players who have been educated in modern ways of coaching and training will embrace his ideas. Those who are stuck in their old ways will be out the door.

Was Berbatov an athlete? VdV? Ginola? Sheringham? Hoddle?
King would not have passed any kind of physical test.
Instead they let the ball do the work and used their brain, and were the crowd favourites. They are the kind of mavericks our club has always found a home for.

Walker and Rose are probably the most athletic of the current squad - enough said really.
Bale was the exception that proves the rule.

To give credit to AVB, fitness was never something he over promoted, and his training sessions were meant to be primarily interesting. For some reason that rarely came out on the pitch.

Of course Poochie hasn't said anything about his intentions or methods and I suspect he never will, so we will have to wait for the players' reactions in the preseason.

It worked wonders... We won silverware.
Ramos had f all to do with it. That was Jols team and they were already getting pissed off with Ramos for taking away the cream puffs from the canteen. We only won it because celebrating was the only way the players could get pissed.
Its no coincidence we won the first peice of silverware available in a season. Drink led me to it lol.
